I bought this beautiful journal on my son's account. The beach/ocean is my go to when feeling overwhelmed even though it means driving about 1-2 hours. You won't go wrong in buying this for yourself or as a gift. The reason for the overall 4 stars is only due to Amazon themselves. I bought the beach chair journal and Amazon sent me the owl journal. The sticker on the outside plastic even said beach chair. While the owl journal was beautiful too it was not what I wanted. I reached out to SOHOSPARK told them what happened included pics of the wrong item sent. They said they've been having troubles with Amazon putting new stickers over theirs and using their old catalog so products have gotten mixed up. However SOHOSPARK went above and beyond in customer service to make it right. They said I could keep the owl journal and they would send out the beach chair one that I originally ordered. It arrived within 2 days - amazing and they included a free refillable pad! Plus getting to keep the owl one was a wonderful gesture on their part and I gifted it to a wonderful dear friend who loves owls. She absolutely loves the owl journal! Great customer service and a beautiful journal well made!

I bought this as a Christmas present for a friend, and she absolutely loved it. It came in a box, which made it easy to wrap. The leather felt high quality, and I have good hopes that it will hold up.

What I like most is it's page size. Finally a journal of decent size, I can write an read what I've written without a magnifying glass. Its a pleasure to put down ones thoughts and observations in this journal. The slip cover (mine is nautical) is an eye catcher an people will ask what book it is, when I tell them its my journal they will say where you get it... I should get some kind of kickback for my free advertising ....lol lol....Anyway, if your interested in documenting theses interesting times we now find ourselves living in, you can't go wrong with this Journal....keep on writing.....

I was surprised at how nice this really was. The recipient had given me a list of Amazon links to look at - this one had been on her list for several years now. Feels nice to the touch, is a great size and weight, portable, fits well in a 'normal' sized bag. And there are refill pages. I was afraid it would be plasticy, but it isn't. The graphic is embedded and textural. The book lays flat when open.

Bought for my mom, she loves it and that the notebooks are replaceable.

I ordered this journal and I was surprised by how soft it is, that is one of the first things my partner mentioned. The pages inside are also nice and sturdy. They do bleed a tiny bit if you use a marker on them but other than that they are great. I also love that you can swap out the pages when it is filled or if you need a different type (unlined, etc) of page for your journal. I often fall in love with a journal but use them too quickly so this is perfect. Great product so far! Thanks!

I love the paper and I love the soft cover. Has to be my favorite journal ever; however, I am having difficulty getting refills from the company. Not all 5A refills work for the journal. Also, i love their insert. Their paper is great quality. I purchased another filler but when they have theirs in stock I will by their refills.
