We’ll structured
I bought it for my 8 years old and we do 2 word problems daily. I like the level of difficulty and the way information on the pages is structured. I used the same book for my older child and now it was time to do it with my younger one and I didn’t hesitate to purchase this book again

Parent Life Saver
Excellent resource for parents who are struggling to solve word problems the “Singapore Math” way. It’s simple and logical and the book shows you step by step how to solve problems with bar models. I have recommended this series to parents of children in my class. It’s an easy way to get parents involved with their child’s studies and monitoring math homework activities.

Great Book
It was good for my 8year old to practice word questions, he loves math, this book was great but it needed for math, I was shocked when I saw that the rest of pages were just answers

Pros and Cons
I like these word problems as a teacher resource. My only problem is that I wish the book were organized better by math skill, and ascending difficulty. I also wish the answers were directly after each problem, instead of in another part of the book. There is a page in the front of the book where you can look up the math skills and choose questions based on that, but if it were already organized that way, it would be faster for us teachers with limited prep. time! That said, if I were using it as a workbook for my child at home, I would probably be happy with it as-is.

I love word problems for my homeschooler
I love word problems for my homeschooler. Instead of an equation sitting there, he has to think what is being asked and write his own equation. This book offers solutions according to core math and Singapore.

Nice selection of word problems.
I don't understand the other reviews. It says quite clearly that the book is made of 70 problems, so what is the problem? Whether they are spread over 400 pages or concentrated over 20 is immaterial. Personally I like the use of the space. In addition the problems are grouped in chunks of similar problems. Some "topics" are more difficult than others, but none are overly difficult, so they should all be solved with a bit of thinking without spending too much time on them.

I love these math books
I love these math books, my daughter really learned a lot, you just have to read all the instructions at the beginning to really understand how the questions are supposed to be answered. When my daughter follows this system she gets the answers right most of the time, when she doesn't she always gets them wrong. Really like this book.

The book looks o k, but...
The book looks o k, but, having had a quick browse through, I did notice that some of the questions HAD been answered by the previous owner. I have only checked 1 or 2 though. I will erase any of the markings/calculations without checking the other questions that have any of these on. Despite this, the book seems fine. Thanks.
