I bought these because of my dogsWe use a woodstove. We stack wood on either side of the woodstove. The dogs love to chew on the smaller pieces of wood.And they are not neat about it.I have walked into the living room and found the entire rug litter with chewed up wood piecesAnyway, I bought these to put in front of wood piles and they work perfectly. They are lightweight but sturdy. I have a black accent wall, so it looks kinda nice in my tiny little living room.

Perfect fireplace screen for a smaller fireplace opening! I didn't want anything large and/ornate. I looked at quite a few before deciding on this one. It's a good size and the simplicity doesn't compete with any of my furnishings. It's lightweight, so moving it around is easy. Price was right, so it was a no brainer!

OK listen this thing works perfect, when I’m done with it I folded it up. I slip it underneath the stove. I have a Wood Stove . That being said, I leave the door open on the woodstove, pull it out from underneath it unfold it put it up against it and Walla it’s protecting me from the sparks for the money definitely a wonderful product I would buy it again and I would recommend it I don’t wanna leave something out laying around but I want something big I want to be able to tuck it away when not in use… this is perfect

The screen fits quite nice. Good value. Packaged very nicely.

Works okay for the application. Does what it’s supposed to do. I bit unsturdy and thin though, and the whole thing moves when barely touched. When touched, the sides want to straighten out which will cause it to fall. Bottom edge where hinges are is rounded, not square like depicted in the pictures. Leaves a gap where popping embers could get through. $30 is overpriced for what you get. Overall okay, a straight C

It is exactly what we needed, and at a good price!

The media could not be loaded.  I got this to keep my baby away from touching the heater, and it definitely helps! He can’t touch the heater at all anymore. I do sort of wish I could nail it into the wall, but that’s fine, this works! Would recommend if you need to keep your babies or pets away from the fire place or heater during the winter time!

Lo compré porque uno de mis perros se acercó demasiado al fuego y se chamuscó los pelos. Así estoy tranquila porque evita que pase de nuevo. Es estable y discreto. Cuando no lo usas no ocupa casi sitio. El único inconveniente es que un día estaba demasiado cerca y la pintura que lo recubre empezó a echar humo. Para un objeto que tiene que estar cerca del fuego no veo lógico que la pintura no sea ignífuga. Pero bueno, por su precio tampoco se puede pedir más. Para lo que yo lo quería me sirve.

Unlike most other fireplace screens which are very elaborate and expensive, this screen is a classic design and an excellent price. Ours was not bent or broken, as with other reviews. Very satisfied with this product.
