I had seen this product and thought about using it and try making some vanilla coffee creamer, where you mix some vanilla with dry creamer and thereby letting it sit and make vanilla creamer. This product is not for that. I will say this, I believe this product would be 4 stars for baking. As it is a rich scent of vanilla. In coffee, though how I have done it left a slightly bitter taste. But I do think I will use the remainder of what I've got in baking and other cooking things. Would I recommend this, probably. Like I said, this is geared more for baking.

Only wish it wasn't so expensive and that it had more powder

This is the worst product on amazon. It is a supplement that they are selling as a food ingredient. It does not taste or smell like vanilla and it irritates the gut. Try vanillan powder or soak whole grade b vanilla beans in water and salt.

To be fair, I bought this a couple of years ago to put into icecream. I wouldn't think that it would go bad in that time. I finally opened the package today. It was aweful! Very medicinal tasting. I am a huge vanilla lover! this was not vanilla at all!!! Ruined my icecream!!

I like the vanilla, it comes in a resealable package and tastes good. I have only used it once but it was tasty.

This product worked really well for baking, however the scent is NOT good and the flavor alone is not vanilla. It tastes more like alcohol.
