Was nice! Not so much anymore
I used with with my Samsung S8+ in an OtterBox Commuter. I had to modify it by removing the rubber pads so it would charge with the case on. I loved the charger and it was great for several months, but after a bit I would return to the charger on the dash because it fall off the window. Most recently I found that the plastic melted and it doesn't open and close correctly anything. That's from living in NJ, not even somewhere crazy hot!

Just Didn't Last
I've had this for about 5 months now, but it no longer charges my phone. For the first 4 months, it worked great for charging my iPhone XS Max (though it did have minor issues staying attached to the vent). However over the last month, it would only intermittently charge my phone. Over the last week, it now now longer charges my phone. I've tried changing the cigarette lighter charger and the USB cable, but it did not make a difference.

Good idea, bad implementation
Two stars for the idea and zero for the implementation.Pros:- Wireless ChargingCons- Never stay in place- Can't hold the phone horizontallyI've been using this charger for almost a year now. I got it due to the nice idea and high reviews. However, I've never been satisfied since day 1.It never stays in place. You have to fix the position multiple times even during a short trip. It even fells downs sometimes.Also, the phone has to stay vertically all the time. Your phone will fall down if you try it tilt it even a little.Not recommended.

Its ok.
I don't really like this item why because if you turn it side ways like to use as widescreen it won't hold the phone. It's made as gravity basically. I still use it but it's not so great.

Great for about several months.
Worked great with my iphone XS Max for several months. I was expecting it to last longer but great price, design and function. I paid about $30 for it.

Works perfectly for me.
Not sure the bad reviews, this works perfect for me. And cold winters and hot summers where i am, buying a 2nd one for my 2ndary car. Iphone xr here

Doesn't fit iPhone Xs Max in otter box cases
I order this because it said it fit iPhone xs max in otter box cases but unfortunately, I can not even get my phone in it at all

Great Idea, Spend Money on a Better Product Though
Got a out 8 months out of this. Doesn't always charge, you have to get it set in the exact right position or it doesn't work. Back of it where it clamps onto the air vent got lose and today completely broke off.
