Finnish-English/English-Finnish Dictionary & Phrasebook (Hippocrene Dictionary & Phrasebooks)

It brought me back to my childhood, when I was very young, all I knew was Finnish, and had to learn English when I started school in first grade. After graduating high school and moving away from home, I was no longer around Finnish speaking people so kind of lost the language. But after reading the dictionary, a lot of it was coming back to me, and I was amazed at how many words I did remember even thought I had not spoken them in many years. It's a nice little book for me to have.

Best book for basic finnish convo or to take if your traveling to FInland got good important phrases. And was very accurate on spelling and pronunciation and proper finnish grammer.

This book is amazing as far as the content goes. But i had several pages just falling out. As if they were glued in properly? Hoping i dont lose them but otherwise the information is perfect for language learners.

This is probably the best and most straightforward Finnish book I've come across with. Such a simplistic looking book but it covers a lot. I own 4 other Finnish books, this is the best one yet!

Bought it for my girlfriend and she loved. We both use word and phrases on a daily basis.

This book is a great value and contains many useful phrases. It isn't quite as helpful with the pronunciation, but it is still well worth the price.

Doesn't explain how the language ticks but a nice way to step into finnish and get the feel of it.

Comecei a estudar finlandês há poucos meses e adquiri uma boa noção lendo esse livro todos os dias um pouquinho.Além disso, o livro tem o tamanho ideal para levar na mochila ou bolsa e ler em qualquer lugar.
