Replace broken old handle with this. Really good

I have a 1990 Toyota Camry withn a broken Drivers' Door latch handle. So, I looked online to find a new one. Ebay had several; but I would have to pay Shipping & Handling. Amazon delivered the right part at the right price and Shipping was free. It fit perfectly and was easy to install. Now I can get out of my car without having to roll the window down and reaching for the outside latch. LOL! I only wish that it matched the interior color of my car, which is blue. My latch handle is dark gray. Not a big deal.

For my 1994 Toyota truck, it fit and worked perfectly. Remove screw, slide forward towards dash to remove. There’s a YouTube video that shows how to remove and replace it. It appears to be same as original quality.

The Dorman parts, in this case an interior door handle, are value priced and fit well. They are not up to OEM quality, but I have been pleased with the quality for the price. They have helped me keep my Tacoma pickup in service for over 20 years. At the price, I can live with less than a less than 20 year service life.

Lasted about 6 months. I'm just going to have a pair of vice grips ziptied on instead of replacing twice a year. Not worth it, as it broke and then the door lock wouldn't open from the outside so I had to wait for AAA to come.

Works perfectly in my 1993 Toyota pickup. I want to say the dealer wanted well over $100 to fix the handle and I bought this for less than $8 and probably took 8 minutes to install. I’m definitely not a mechanic, but was an easy fix. Looks like the original that is on the other side (only doesn’t have 28 years worth of sun hitting it) and functions perfectly.

Easy to install, only wish it was metal so it was more durable.

Purchased on Feb 2022 and broke in Sept 2022, the original part lasted for 20 years on a 1999 Tacoma..
