Unless you are literally straight up and down, I do not recommend this. I put it on the proper area of my waist and it folded, and folded uncomfortably. It was like having a rope wrapped around the mid part of the belt that was digging in.Because of this fatal flaw, the overlapping snap closure doesn't lay flat to my back, even though it's elasticized. The snaps on the back stand out uncomfortably (it needs a different closure entirely due to the unflattering bulk), and a middle snap dug into my lower back while the edges flipped outward.It may work if you are making a pirate costume and want the "look" without purchasing true leather. But I cannot legitly recommend something so uncomfortable for a curvy person for all-day wear.

I didn't feel comfortable writing a review around a year ago, but I would not recommend this product. I regret buying it for many reasons. including the fact that it never showed up. A part of me is glad that it didn't bother showing up. I was struggling a lot with my image so I bought this cheap thing that could have led me down a path I don't want to go down.

Used this belt for my witches Halloween costume. Very comfortable. I was concerned about the sizing so I had ordered the next size up to make sure it wouldn't be to tight. I don't believe it was necessary. There was enough give in the elastic that if I had ordered one size smaller, it would have been fine. I did replace the laces with a brighter colored ribbon just to make it match up with the rest of my costume and it worked wonderfully. Very happy with the purchase. Worth the 5 star rating.

I do love it. And it is quite comfortable. Seems like really good quality too. Though in hindsight I would have liked one that was a bit taller.

It fits really well, and matches with my black dress. The material is also quite comfortable and durable. You can definitely wear it for a long time.

My girlfriend really likes this. She has been wore twice after received it. She also use this for outside of skirt decorate.
