The Gospel of Philip: Jesus, Mary Magdalene, and the Gnosis of Sacred Union

Was able to read in one day. Loved it.

Thought provoking, challenging but most importantly a resource to better understand Jesus, Mary, ultimately of where the Kingdom is. Not only is it not around us but inside each of us.

This Gnostic text is really good if you can understand its message. I still think the Gospel of Thomas is the best Gnostic text out there.

Great purchase

Good read. The translation was good and original text was presented. The presentation was the way it was not interdiction of the writer.

Jean-Yves Leloup's commentaries on the Gospels of Philip, Mary Magdalene and on the Gospel of Thomas are so insightful that these books have a had a profound effect on me. Along my journey toward truth, I have read so much and have looked for answers but have mostly been left wanting. Finally, finding Jean-Yves Leloup's books has been life-changing for me. He makes me re-think and question all the religious baggage that I have dragged along all these years. I feel re-newed. I reccommend all three books very highly.

Leloup beautifully elaborates on both Gospels with an unique personal and philosophical insight. I also like his complementary approach to the canonical gospels. Introductions to both texts are most illuminating and suitable to both a general curious reader and scholars. In my opinion the best existing interpretations of the two gospels.

Interestind to read as I am not a catholic, it gives you different perspectives about Jesus

Reading about the various gospels that a committee of priests decided should not be visible to us I think is one of the greatest betrayals of Christ's message in history. A must read

The book arrived in perfect condition. The print is easy to read and the translation also. Leloups words are welcome also.
