Very effective and remote controlled too..!
I bought these lights to go on the Christmas tree. These lights are just wonderful. They are very small, but lots and lots of them..! So the overall effect is stunning. The lovely warm white colour is very subtle, and lovely to look at. The copper wire is fantastic. It is very thin and you really can't see it when you put these in the tree, so it looks even more amazing. They are really easy to use as you just unravel from the card as you go around the tree. What i love the most though is the remote control..! What a joy to be able to change the settings and switch on and off as well. You can be the other side of the room and put the lights on and so easy to switch off at night. No more trying to scramble on the floor to pull the plug out! They are a really good buy.

Remote doesn't work
This just arrived today I've opened up the lights and unwound them and connected them to the remote receiver and plugged them in. The infrared receiver or remote doesn't work and the lights are dim compared to when plugged in with out the receiver. I bought these for the remote control purposes. I may have just received a faulty kit. But not worth the 15£

Not good.
First of all the plug is far too big for an outside socket, the wire connecting the plug to the lights is ridiculously short and not fit for purpose, the wire is also very suspiciously tapped together. It also hums when switched on. Saying all this, I got a refund the same day as I send it back. So that’s definitely a plus..

put these round the arch and trellis in the garden ,still working because its plugged into the mains , think i will keep them up all the time looks nice dont know how long the bulbs will last though lol

Avoid!
I wouldn’t bother buying! Bought two sets of these and both same faults, Loose connections, half of the string didn’t work, would flicker off and the only way to get it to work was wobbling the cable. Also advertised as outdoors and IP65 but at the first sign of rain they cut out.

DONT buy - mine came broken
Bought these for my sister for Xmas and doesn’t even turn on?? At all. Completely broken. Says it offers a one year warranty but no instructions on how to return them and claim that. Terrible.
