Otentik Beach Sunshade - with Sandbag Anchors - The Original Sunshade Since 2011

Bought this instead of a $99 quick shade tent because they get broken so easily. Great decision. I can set this thing up on the beach in 10 minutes by myself. Otentik should have given this too me for free because I bet I sold 25 of these this week alone. I see why they incluse business cards in the box. Almost every person that passed it took a picture and asked me about it. Super happy with it.Things I learned after my first attempt to use this product.1. Stretch this thing well past what you think is normal. The first time I was afraid it was going to rip. It wont. Trust me.2. Stuff the sand bags super full. They stretch too.3. Keep the poles close to the corners.

Sometimes you feel like a spokesperson for OtentikLong version:We purchased this tent in 2017 for our Cape Cod, MA vacation and I could not believe how simple it was to set up and how gorgeous it looked at the beach, not to mention how much shade it provided!We love the fact that you can stand under the shade and you can also easily spot the shade from very far away even when the beach is packed with other tents and umbrella. When our kids are playing by the water or after going to the restroom, they have no problem finding back to our shade because of the unique design and its two-tone color. The only reason I got this Orange-Grey two-tone color is because this was the cheapest Large size tent but it turned out great in looks and it contributed even more for easily spotting our shade in crowded beach.It comes with a carrying bag and when packed, it's small and lightweight that my 8 year old daughter has no problem carrying it.It's very quick to set up and it stays up well even in windy situation (while other beach umbrellas are flying around with risk of stabbing someone). When the direction of the wind changes, you can simply move one of the poles to the other side. It literally takes just few seconds to make changes and adjustments.If you need a beach umbrella or beach tent, stop shopping and just purchase this one. You will not regret it. After purchasing it, just make sure to watch the "Otentik sunshade from A-Z" youtube video on how to set up and pack up before you head out to the beach the first time with this shade. The color instruction packet that comes with the shade is very simple and useful but no photo instruction can beat the a video instruction.BOTTOM LINE:I highly recommend this shade without any hesitation and I can honestly say it was worth every penny. 👍👍I would give 10 stars if I can.** UPDATED ON 9/4/2019 **We just came back from another Wildwood vacation last week and used the Otentik shade every day at the beach.The wind was blowing side ways and I had to place the both poles on one side but it still worked out beautifully!We now used this shade for 3 years and 2 photos from this year has been added for your viewing pleasure 😄** UPDATED on 9/6/2019 **Lastly, I added 1 more picture which shows how small this shade is when packed for carrying or storage. I placed it next to another packed beach tent and 2 different size boogie boards for scale.It's super lightweight as well because the only thing that has any weight to it is the 2 poles, which folds to compact size yet very strong and durable.Now I have total of 10 pictures to prove why this shade it worth every penny. Took our new Otentik SunShade (family size) to the Outer Banks of NC for it's trial run and couldn't be happier. Lightweight, compact, easy to set up and, most importantly, IT WORKS! Watched the YouTube tip vids in advance and it was a breeze, literally. Even my 10 year old knew what to do. The family/largest size easily allowed 6 people to sit under it. Didn't get to test it yet in high sustained winds, which is unusual for OBX, but the gusts we encountered were no problem. In fact, there was almost not enough wind at times, which while making the shaded area a little harder to get under didn't deter our fun. A couple onservations... We went with the light turquoise color and I wonder if going darker would block out even more UV rays. Still use sunscreen, even if you're going to stay in the shade the whole time. First day out I purposely didn't wear anything, knowing I'd be under the shade the entire time and while I didn't get burned, I did get a few pink spots and you could create a shadow in the shade which made me wonder about the darker color. Anyway, we received several questions about who make it and where we got it. All in all a wonderful product.UPDATE : found our high winds yesterday at Hatteras National Seashore. Probably 20+ mph sustained. Stretched the shelter tighter and dug in the sand bags a little and it worked great! Even better than in the low winds as it was constantly billowing to full size and height. You could walk under the entire shelter. Excellent product!!

al principio tenia mis dudas sobre este producto, pero la verdad estoy muy satisfecho, la calidad de la tela y el diseño es genial, como todo lo nuevo tiene su curva de aprendizaje para utilizarlo y mas en condiciones de viento fuerte, per el montaje y desmontaje es super facil, y el transporte es facilisimo. yo pedí otros dos tubos de soporte para tener una mejor estabilidad, en resumen muy buena compra.
