If you're shopping around for hi amp cut off switches these are the ones you want, go ahead and spend the little bit of extra money. The cheap ones aren't worth what you would save upfront in the long run.

Perfect for winch
I added a winch to my wrangler but I wanted to make sure it wouldn't drain the battery. I added this switch just in case. Quality is good and gives me peace of mind. Great find.

The photos don’t transmit the size of this switch
I needed a switch that would disconnect solar panels from the controller for maintenance. This one looks good but my problem was that it is quite big and tall, maybe size of man’s fist. It would be excessive for my small project. The photos do not transmit the size of this switch. It would be appropriate though for a larger project. Returned the switch.

Installation
Simple to install, great price and very heavy duty !

switch was a perfect match to the another one installed by factory in my RV
I used this in my RV to switch 12v power to an inverter to run my refrigerator. Inverters draw a little power from the battery even when not in use, so for long periods of non use, I installed this to completely cut off power to the inverter so as not to deplete my coach batteries. The switch was a perfect match to the one already installed to cut off battery power for RV storage, everything looks uniform.

If you finally need to fix something, get the right parts!
I have been dealing with batteries going dead on our skiff for years. One thing or another is always draining the battery. This little device put a stop to it. We went with the black unit and installed it on the ground side. When the boat is parked, the switch gets turned off, and the battery has juice for the next trip. With this brand you have a fairly high level of confidence in the product for longevity too. Please with the purchase and end result.
