Works flawlessly with my Dell Precision 5810. Perfect length to reach my Nvidia RTX 4060 card. I did need to remove a (removable) black plastic rectangular plastic piece from the Dell case panel (that one lifts off to access the inside of the case) to be able to return the panel to the case. This was because the top of the graphics card with power cable inserted is otherwise too high. It looks like this was by design to have the case panel sit flush with graphics card both with/without a power cable inserted.

The product itself gets 5-stars though I ran into an issue which is an annoyance I have with Dell.Picture 1 - I had assumed this cable would have the 8-pin plug into the PSU and the two 6/8-pin plugs would go to the GPU. Instead one of the 6/8-pin ends goes in to the PSU which leaves a single length cable to route instead of two shorter cables. I might have labeled one or both the 6/8-pin cables as "for PSU or GPU" and the 8-pin as "GPU only". It's a small thing though and you can't hurt your system as the 8-pin has the plastic housing keyed to not allow it to be installed into the PSU.Picture 2 - 6/8-pin cable plugged into the Dell 435W PSU. Note the black plastic cover needs to be removed.Picture 3 - Other 6/8-pin cable plugged into the GPU. I'm using a Dell OEM NVIDIA GTX 660. It's around the right generation with the tower, I had it on a shelf, and it's Dell to match the brand (which doesn't matter).Picture 4 - GPU is installed. I noticed a potential problem though. Leaning up against the bottom of the case is the side panel which has some sort of padded handle or maybe it's used to help gently keep the GPU pressed into the slot. Not sure but I'm worried it's going to go on top of the GPU auxiliary power.Picture 5 - That handle is coming down like a hammer ready to smash my PSU cable into a pancake!Picture 6 - The panel doesn't slide into place on the case. The handle is on top of the auxiliary cable and won't close. Thanks Dell. Yes GPU power connectors are in a variety of places across a variety of brands, but this handle/GPU brace feels unnecessary or could have been designed to avoid the back third or quarter of the GPU which could hit the auxiliary power. I'll have to cut into the handle or maybe pop the rivets and take it off altogether.Picture 7 - Running FurMark which stresses the GPU. On top of it is HWMonitor showing the 6/8-pin cable taking a touch over 15W. I've run 3dMark 11 advanced tests, FurMark for 15-20 minutes. This shows during these tests that the cable continued to deliver power as expected. I plan on test driving some relatively older games (10ish years) to see how it goes.

Really great quality cable. Fit the connectors on my Dell T3610 to ASUS RTX 3060

These are designed for specific dell systems. I used them in a 5810. They do what they are intended to- I was able to power a pretty demanding (older) RX580 that needed 8+6. The only drawback I see is that they are a little short for some cards, making for a pretty tight stretch. Other than that, and maybe being a smaller gauge than factory, they work fine.

I was so upset to get a new (used) graphics card only to find out the 6 pin cable was not included. I tried to many cables but none of them work. I have a 700 watt modular GPU. This fit right into my Asus 2070 Super card, and into the GPU. My previous GPU required only the 8 pin. I tried starting my computer by only using the 8 pin but the computer gives you a message letting you know that you need to provide adequate power. This cable plugs straight into my PSU and GPU. It was exactly what I needed. Its a very solid and sturdy cable. Excellent quality. I highly recommend.

Easy to install, It works. Not much else to say. Currently powering a GTX 970

I had previously purchased the wrong cable, then found this listing where it specifically called out Dell T3610 PC's). Sure enough it arrived (on time), plugged right in and now I was able to install a GTX 1660 Super video card in my Dell Precision T3610 PC (had to modify the case for the video card, but this cable worked great!). Excellent quality, no loose connections or wires, no frayed jacketing.The 8-pin connectors plugged in easily to both my motherboard and the new video-card, exactly as needed.Plug and play. Excellent!

This cable worked just fine in connecting up a GTX1070 video card to a Dell T7810 in one of our labs.I see several 1 star reviews with people complaining that this cable blew up their power supply or video card. That's because this cable was the WRONG cable for their power supply. While the auxiliary power connectors on a video cards all use a standard arrangement of power & ground pins, the nearly identical connectors on the power supply DO NOT. If your power supply is modular (ie: you can remove the internal power cables connected to it), you *must* use cables that were designed for THAT SPECIFIC BRAND of power supply...preferably the cables that originally came with it. Just because this cable fits into the PCI-E connector on your power supply does NOT mean it's compatible.The description for this cable clearly indicates it's for a variety of Dell computers, and as such you should assume it will ONLY work with these Dells.
