LOVE these things! I have several...
This is a very good product, and it does exactly what it's supposed to. Yes the latch is the weakest point, and it does eventually wear out, but you just pair this with one of the cylindrical bra bags and keep using it. It will work with up to a D cup, and yes, you do have to phenagle it in a bit, but I still use the inner separator w/no problems, and I really have no complaints, and my bras last for years. I rarely put this in the dryer, however. It works fine, but, it makes me nervous putting plastic in there (GI Joe guns can be nasty surprises in the dryer, and they've gotten me nervous, lol!) This is an ingenious invention, and well worth purchasing if you're tired of lumpy bras or the dreaded hand washing.

Good product
Works well, but it's a pain to get open. If your bra has extra padding in it, it may not fit very well. But it's great for keeping everything in tact while washing.

Not worth buying... just hand-wash your bras.
While this is an old purchase, I was actually thinking of this product the other day and came to write my review because of it. I got these BraBabies because I thought it would be perfect for washing my more delicate bras that I didn't want to wring out. Unfortunately, when I put my 34A size bras in the contraptions as the instructions showed, the darn balls were too big to fit in my washing machine! I was able to use the inner balls, but even when washed on the "hand wash" cycle of my machine, my little bras managed to worm themselves out of the balls, rendering said balls totally pointless. I found one of these the other day in my craft bin, which must have been where I put the one I had decided not to throw away for some reason, and tossed it, because I just couldn't see any point in keeping it any longer. They may be better for those who have larger bras than me (again, I'm a 34A), as they may contain your bra a little better, but before you buy, measure the opening of your machine and see if the balls will even fit between the agitator thing that sticks up and the opening of your machine. If not, save your money.

Poorly made product for a great concept
If I had written this review when I first purchased this product I would have given it 5 stars. It worked great the first time and I was thrilled because I could finally put my expensive bras in the washer and not worry about them piling up until I had time to handwash. Well, just after about 2-3 weeks of use, the balls would pop open in the washer. I tried using gentle cycle only and put only 2 balls in the machine max at a time with only 2-3 three light articles of clothing and they still popped open. I've had to constantly fish around in the machine for those little cheap plastic latches that always come off the balls during use. This is a great concept and I am mad that these balls are so cheaply made. Based on other people's reviews, I may try another manufacturer to see if those are any better.

it's not attached to the outer portion and falls out easily when you turn it to unlock the container
Without any modification, if you want to use these as they come, right out of the box - you will probably be frustrated. There is a small plastic part that "locks" the outer portion together; it's not attached to the outer portion and falls out easily when you turn it to unlock the container. It's small and easy to drop and lose. But, if you're willing to do a few small modifications, this is a low cost alternative to some of the other bra protection systems. I drilled a small hole in the small plastic part that locks the outer portion, ran a small string through the hole and tied the part to the container. The string not only keeps the part attached to the container so it can't be lost, but I also wrap it a few times around the outer container to keep it closed in the wash. I also put the whole container inside a mesh lingerie bag in case it pops open. Not perfect, but with a string and placing it within a mesh bag, a low cost system that works. If you want something that is very effective and needs no change or fussing with, this will disappoint.

Great product
The Bra Baby works exactly as advertised and really well. Very sturdy product, keeps a padded bra in its natural shape through the entire wash cycle (I have only used it in the gentle cycle with cold water.) I am very pleased with the product and the price. My only complaint is that I had to get out my pliers to twist open the lock before first use, but since then it has been easy to turn.

Buy them
These are great because they extend the life of your bras. They really preserve the newness if your bra. Here's the deal. The locking clips break within about 6 months. I cots tend the company who models ghetto product to see about ordering a bunch if extra clips as replacement parts. Can't get any response from them. I improvised. I bought cheap plastic zipties at the dollar tree for a big bag. Now I use one in each wash. I snip. Throw away. Problem solved and the Brabant functions to max.

Love this idea
Love this idea, and they work well in saving wear and tear on your underthings, as well as their shape. The little doohickey that "locks" them closed is useless--I tossed it, and simply put the BraBaby in a small lingerie bag which ensures that if the device happens to open while being tossed around in the laundry, your bra will stay safely in the ball. So far, the system has worked perfectly.
