Yankee CandleVotive Sampler (Christmas & Holder)

Looks like they decided to unload all of their leftover summer scents despite an item description of "festive" and pictures indicating an assortment of holiday-themed fragrances. Not just one or two candles - I ordered two of these (16 candles total) and every single one is decidedly "non-festive". Despicable practice by a seller more concerned with making a quick buck than with running an honest business.

Candle holder came smashed. Sadly it looked like a nice holder too. Candles were ok. Two of them I would not class as a Christmas candle scent but it is what it is. Mostly upset with the holder.

Not what I expected. I wish I would have read more closely the way you described the product. I have ordered hundreds of dollars worth of Yankee Candles and this was a big let down. I wont' do it again.

Good Variety

When I opened the box, I expected the candles to be a little bigger but as long as they were all different I don’t care. But the free candle holder I got actually broke In the mail so I’d be careful of any glass that may potentially be laying around in your box.

The retail price for these are 1.99 each. This is a blatant quarantine mark up. Shameful.

Gave to my wife early for Christmas. The whole house smelled festive.

Question. With what do you associate aromas of Christmas? Winter berries, cranberries, candy canes? Well yes, of course. When I saw the photos of the scents buyers were getting from this seller; ‘winter glow’ ‘berry trifle’, ‘Christmas magic’, I thought “yes, count me in”. What arrived was akin to packaging done in the dark. ‘Sweet honeycomb’, ‘sweet blueberry muffin’, ‘hot cocoa’...this wasn’t a Christmas collection, it was the ultimate tease for a diabetic!And I could look forward with eager anticipation to reading ‘The Night Before Christmas’ while the air is filled with the smell of that old Christmas favourite ‘lime and coriander’...for the love of Ada!In the spirit of being balanced, the ‘icy blue spruce’ and ‘cinnamon spiced cookie’ I received can be construed as festive scents, but a 25%/75% split between festive scent and bag-filling guff???Please be aware, now my rant is over, that this seller is clearly running short of what they advertise they supply!

These aren't festive at all! I'm disappointed to say the least!!Not at all as advertised 😡

Disappointed to find two of the same scent, having read reviews that stated they would all be different. Also not happy to find one of the candles 'white gardenia' isn't a Christmas scent and isn't listed as one of the choices in the buying list. Luckily these weren't brought as a gift or I would have returned them.

Well, I thought I'd try these so I could pick a favourite and have a big one for xmas. So far its one of the green ones ( and stupidly I forgot to note the name...) but they're a nice set. They burn really quickly just placed on a plate, so I have mine in a small terracotta plant pot, but a small jar or heat/fire proof container will do. It contains the wax instead of letting it spread and so it burns slower but still releases that lovely aroma.

Really disappointed that 3 of my 8 “festive fragrance” candles are not festive fragrances at all!! (Honey glow, clean cotton, sweet apple???). I had specifically bought these for Christmas gift packages, so feel very cheated that the product is not as described.
