Worked well for my costume
Im 5'7, 150ish lbs with lrg hips and a small waist; I decided to order a size XL after reading the reviews. It was a bit big around the waist and a little longer then I wanted. I bought it for a costume and didn't have time to exchange it so I just rolled the top and it worked well.

Very fun skirt
Very fun skirt. The fabric feels more rubbery/clingy than metallic, so you don't want to sit in it too much. Fits very well and flares as you move.

Love this skirt! Perfect length (I am 5'5) and so comfortable. I read the reviews so I knew what to expect. I am a size 14 and got an XL if that helps anyone. It is soft and looks fantastic on. I rarely wear an XL, mostly smaller sizes. So I guess size up at least one. It shipped very quickly.

Did not like it at all so I ordered a new one ...
Very very thin material and no lining. I couldn't wear it and had to give it away. Did not like it at all so I ordered a new one from another seller that made it with a much thicker better fabric with lining.

The fit of this skirt was perfect, however it is VERY wide
The fit of this skirt was perfect, however it is VERY wide. It is a true circle skirt (as described in the listing), and because of the combination of cut and metallic fabric, the skirt does not fall against the body at all, so it made my hips look much larger. I was not a fan, and much prefer this metallic skirt: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00TXO3V5U?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o08_s00, since it lays better. As pictured on the model, this skirt does indeed fall in a triangular shape from the waist, which might not be as flattering on someone with my curves. ;) If you're looking for a softer skirt that lays flatter, go with the HDE. It is still a true gold color (the photo for the listing looks as if it might be a bit more bronze--not the case), but it is much more flattering to us curvy gals. Thinner ladies looking to create the illusion of curves/hips: have at it!
