Karter Scientific 211Z2 Standard Microscope Cover Slip, 1 Thick, 22x22mm, 200pk (Case of 2000)

Actually clean unlike so many that are advertised as such. Well packaged. Great value for the money. I hope they’re consistent because I’ll definitely be ordering again.

There are a lot of comments on here about how these coverslips are fragile, but that is true of all glass coverslips. They are very thin pieces of glass and can break if you are rough with them. If you are expecting to use them with kids then it would probably be best to use plastic ones, they are not as clear, but they are much safer.These slips came nice and clean, are of good quality, and came in a nice box. The main issue I had and the reason for 4 stars is that on arrival about 7 of the coverslips were broken. Now I see that as something to be expected whenever I get coverslips mailed as they are very fragile thing and did not seek any sort of a refund (so I cannot say if they would have done so), but still because of that they get a 4 out of 5.

These cover slips are not pre-cleaned. When used you can find crystal-like debris on the cover slips. Often there is quite a lot and it appears as little triangles in lines. I emailed the manufacturer and they verified that they aren't pre-cleaned.Otherwise they are good.

We go through a lot of cover slips because we have to check our elderly dogs urine daily. Because what we’re looking for is so small a clean cover slip is important. I haven’t found cover slips yet that didn’t require any cleaning but for the most part they are clean enough directly from the case. They also have a packet of dessicant inside the case so you don’t have issues with multiple slips sticking together when you’re trying to get only one out. We will order these again.

Excellent quality cover slips. Good optical transmissibility. Reasonably priced. Nothing to complain about.

I ended up not using them, because they just get in the way of viewing what needs to be seen, takes up precious space under the microscope, and scrunches everything into a 2d view - like looking through frosted glass. It came as promised with everything there, but I don't know the use for it - so I don't really recommend buying it unless you're dealing with something that you don't want on your microscope. I did use it for mold growing on my oranges in the fridge, so it's a good idea for that I guess.If you really want a cover to keep something you're looking at from flying away, using another slide on top is a better way to go. That's what I did in school, as the covers can make stuff fly away.I guess it's good for something that's in liquid, as the slides are much harder to pull apart, since they really get stuck together and covers don't do that.

These covers are clean already and the container makes it so easy to grab one in a hurry. Arrived vacuum sealed and in protective packaging.

Excellent product. Very well wrapped with aluminum and vacuum packed, to keep away dust and static. I'm proud of Karter scientific products.

A lot of the slides were broken by the time they came to my door. Perhaps glass slides was not the way to go.

My wife use them to do craft work. Nothing scientific, but they do the job fine .
