It is fast and sturdy. I was impressed with some of the places I was able to put this car. I crossed small streams, shot up mounds and hills like they were not even there. Crush stone were tossed back by the tires as the car would fly over this surface. At its top speeds the car tended to go towards doing donuts on loose or slippery surfaces. Slacking off on the throttle a bit helped keep the car true and straight.I can say that it is very fast. You want to make sure that you have lots of room to maneuver as striking an immovable object at top speed will not result in a pretty situation. Thankfully on asphalt and other high grip surfaces the car handles much better at its top speeds.This car is also very well built and the parts seem of a pretty high quality.

I purchased this rc car for a 4 year old. I don't think he has ever had more fun with any other toy. I would recommend other batteries because they will not want to rest it while batteries are charging, He wants to spend the whole day with it... update this car worked very good for a little while... but when the two batteries that came with ran down and I recharged them . it was like they charged just a little, I also purchased two more batteries and they did the same thing. this gift is all but useless... charging was done per instructions.....

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  First the car arrived quickly. My 7 year old thought it was smaller than he expected but really liked the design and the colors. He couldn’t wait to charge the battery and play with it. The next day he drove it around inside the house and found it was easy to drive and maneuver. The compact design was nice because it could turn easily in tighter spots inside a home. Dad was skeptical at first because of the light weight, but soon realized it would not damage any walls because no matter how good of a driver you are, it will eventually bang into a wall.Outside- the car handled well in the paved driveway and my son soon wanted to test it on some snow and ice. It did not drive well in fluffy snow but did well on packed flat snow and ice. Next, my son tested it in a dirt area that had some ruts and tire tracks in it. I took a short video, both of us were impressed in how it handled. All in all, my son was happy with this purchase. He really liked that it came with two batteries. I would consider buying this brand again. It worked better than I had realistically expected.

Fun little car. Smaller than expected, but that is ok. 7.5" long and 4.5" tall at the tallest point (roof lights). It doesn't have variable speed - just on or off. Same with steering - it is either all the way right or all the way left. The steering is adjustable on the bottom so you can make sure it drives straight. Battery lasts a long time, and it came with 2! Good rc car for the low price.

This is a good little rc car. I bought it to play with my Schnauzers with and it works perfect! It’s fast enough to wear them out and they love chasing it all over the yard. Grass and gravel are no match for this little car. It goes right over it all.

This RC was the right toy at the right price for my 5-year old. The wheel-and-trigger controller took him a few minutes to get used to, but he had a blast driving it through the house and on our driveway. The car wasn't powerful enough or big enough to really do much in our yard (we have thick grass) so you need to keep it on firm surfaces for best performance. I was pleased that they sent a pair of batteries, so you can charge one while the other is in use. The battery life is solid at around 30-minutes before noticeable power loss. Total battery life (before the battery dies completely) is probably another 10 minutes as the specs indicate, but at around 30 minutes, it has lost enough juice that our kids wanted the replacement. The only real complaint that I have is that the battery compartment has a screw to help keep it closed. Normally, that would seem like a nice feature, but when you are replacing the battery every half hour, it gets annoying to remove and replace the screw each time. Otherwise, this was exactly the toy we were looking for in this price range for our 5 year old.

I got a bigger car from the same brand for my 3-year-old daughter, and her younger brother constantly fighting for it with her. So when I saw this smaller (and cheaper!!!!) model, I did not hesitate. He loveddddd it so much...the first thing he does every morning is to look for the remote control, and he plays it for hours. We have to charge it whenever he goes to sleep...can't believe how much he's addicted to cars, even though he's only 1-year-old!!!!The photo is to show how big the car is. I got this item in for my daughter's birthday, which was the next day, so it was perfect timing. I put batteries in the remote and charged the batteries for the car and then nothing... The light went on the remote, so I know it was working, but the car never went, and I followed the instructions. So, now my daughter doesn't have her present to wake up to for her birthday because of this defective piece of junk! Buyers beware!
