A pretty good pad/bed for my cat to chill on. He seems to like it as he uses it pretty regularly. Its got a thermal blanket in there which allows the pad to reflect heat back to the cat which gives it a nice little self heating effect. This is something that I was looking for as my cat like to be warm. This beds self heating effect means he no longer sits on top of my PC tower which is nice. The thermal blanket inside the bed does have a slight crinkle when my cat walks on it or adjusts him self on it but that is to be expected with there being a thermal blanket inside. One thing to note is the crinkle might surprise your pet if they're not used to it. Also the bed is slightly on the thinner side but that has not bothered my cat. So far the bed appears to be durable as it hasn't fallen apart yet and is as plush as the day I got it. Also for me it was the perfect size for placing on my desk so my cat can chill next to me while I am using my PC. I'd say for the price its worth a try!

This really does well to self-heat. My cat love it. She has a spot under the computer desk on the floor where she likes to nap and it can get pretty chilly in the winter. I feel safe with this pad because it isn't a electric, so i don't have to worry about my kitty getting burns and it's not a fire hazard. I'm actually going to purchase one for myself to put over the pillow on the back of my recliner because when I tested it out for my cat, it kept me perfectly cozy warm. It's really easy to clean: anyone who has a feline family member knows that when they need to vomit hairballs, as all cats do, they prefer to run straight for the carpet or somewhere soft like this pad to throw up! Put one in every room for your cat(s), they will appreciate it!

My senior kitty has a bit of arthritis in his back and I am sure the cold weather makes him ache let alone laying on a cold tile floor. I purchased two of these. One for inside the house and the other for his sleeping box on our lanai. He was a stray used to living in the elements so he likes to spend a lot of time on our screened-in porch even in cold or rainy weather. He took to both of the mats right away. I know they work as advertised because I could feel the warmth from his body heat after he got up. I live in the south so these will work perfectly for occasional cold fronts we get. The mats are super soft, seem to be of good quality and the best part is they are washable.

You guys will laugh, but I use these for my chickens when it's the colder months, or it just happens to be chilly and I can't provide them with their heat panels (like a chilly summer day or something). They absolutely love these mats. I got them last winter to help keep them warm alongside their heat panels. I wasn't sure at first if they'd use it because of the dark color I got, but they didn't care once they realized they were warm (and throwing some treats on them helped). No worries, they do get mucked up and filthy, haha! But they're machine washable, so I can always toss them in the wash. And they're durable enough to stand up to my rooster digging at it, so they're worth the money. The size is also perfect for their small coop, and they're nice and soft too, a bonus for all involved. So if you're lookong for a little extra warmth for your feather babies, I highly recommend these.

My fussy cat loves this mat!! I opened it, layed it on the floor and he immediately layed down on it. I couldn't believe it!! Each cat is different but this is certainly worth a try. My kitty loves it!!

Got this for my outdoor winter cat house for a wild boy that loves my fenced in yard and has been visiting since he was born. He is safe here from neighborhood dogs and i am hoping his winter house will be acceptable to him even though he is a wild one. This mat should help him brave the cold. It is a nice size for the little two room house and i have one in each section.

Purchased since it started getting colder. I showed my cat this, countless times, and he was not interested. Did not see him sit on it once. The material isn't as thick as expected, most likely due to the self-warming technology. The cloth is pretty thin and its easy to feel the layers. Not too satisfied with the quality, but definitely has great slip resistance.
