I was looking for a split sole, real leather, black t-strap for theatre that didn't cost a fortune and that ran true to my street size. This fits the bill. I am very happy with these shoes and would but them again.

My daughter gave me 2 days notice that she needed Character Heels for a dance class! We ordered these quickly, and were happily surprised. Way nicer than expected for the price. And she said the first time wearing, they were relatively comfy.

I could not wear the shoe at all it was way too big I've never had that happen. Had to return it so I could not enjoy the shoe at all.

I didn't expect the kind of wanky way the strap buckles -- it's more a hook than a buckle. But for the price they are fine -- good theater shoes.

I wish they had street bottoms. The clasp was new to me, but I finally figured it out. They are ok.

After searching for a pair of historically accurate 1920s shoes, I settled on this pair- and I don't regret it! They're beautiful, comfortable, and true to size! I got a size 9, and it fits me perfectly- not too tight or not too loose.

Hard to get tight on her ankle. Way too big. A 9 fits her perfect and the 9 was huge.
