I’m not a plumber but I’ve had empty many radiators in my time and it’s a messy business if you have no space to work with to use a tray, This solution work very well for me. Although it’s a little fiddly fitting it gets easily the more you do. You don’t have to Keep emptying trays, the radiator can be left to empty and easily coped with my largest radiator. It’s ready to disconnect and empty the bag, very little water seepage. However the thickness of the bag could be a little stronger without making it to stiff to use, the eye let holes could be re forced to make them easier to position on the device. Come on it’s not a cheap product so why not improve on it, hence why I have given it only 4 stars. After a few uses I will need a new bag, I don’t think these are available?

It's a bit fiddly to fit, but well worth the effort. The tedious chore of draining the radiators a bit at a time was always a pain. With this clever system, once it's fitted, the radiator can be drained in one hit and no mess to clean up afterwards.

This is a great idea and works well once set up, but the setup is soooo fiddly, especially if your radiator is in a tight space. It's also expensive for what you get: a bag and a couple of bits of plastic.

the idea is good, im a plumber and it does have its place, only downside is that the nuts only seem to be easy to do up from one side, ive had a few radiators where I can only get to one side of the pipework and its a pain in the a**e to do them up from the reverse angle. They are a handy tool to have in the van though as in properties with nice carpet/flooring this is a quick and clean way of draining down a rad without draining the system

easy to use. worked well giving peace of mind when removing radiator for decorating. second one purchased. perhaps a bit expensive but nothing else like it on the market

I've tried many a tool to draining radiators, pans under the valves etc. this is the best, simple as that, it is brilliant, I've done 4 now and I wish I had it years ago, no mess, easy to install (easier on the left valve than than right) and you simply take the very long plastic bad full of water to the drain and empty it, does exactly what it is meant to do, brilliant

good idea but I found it easy just to use the bag and not the gizmo holder

Needed to use this to drain a large radiator where no drain valve was fitted.Easy to use and did the job well
