I have not used the syrup yet, but when I received the bottle the lid was broken! The last order I received had the same thing happen. Maybe packing the bottle with more padding around it might help.Kristi

Firstly, I would like to say that many years ago I attempted to do this cleanse with my co-worker. We were young, misinformed and eager to lose weight together. When I originally researched this cleanse online many years ago, there was very little information about it. There were ingredients and a basic recipe. There was no guide, no book for us to read and definitely no information about the quality of the products. Needless to say, we gave up on day two. Fast forward to today, and I can tell you a whole different story. Secondly, I have tried EVERYTHING on the market to lose weight or get slimmer. I have never been obese, nor overweight. My weight goes up and down with the years. When I lived in Miami I was a size 2, I led a busy life and hardly had time to stop and really sit down and fill up on anything. The weather made in almost impossible to overindulge because I wore less clothing than when I lived in Colorado. After moving back to California I found myself enjoying a lot of burritos, and beers and working out less and less. Although the weather is nice, my life was slowing down significantly so I started taking fat burners, not eating, fasting, shakes, shortcuts out there YOU NAME IT I DID IT. ALL led to me bouncing up and down in health and in weight but never happy nor healthy. After throwing thousands of dollars out the window on fads (even though some worked they were extremely unhealthy for me) I decided to STOP. I decided over a week ago to give this a try one more time, except this time I would be educated, informed and aware of the choice that I was making. When I ordered this package after a lot of research to see if I could find the same products cheaper somewhere else I decided instead to go in all the way. Why short change myself???When I received the package I was excited but I was also scared, nervous, anxious and hopeful but doubtful at the same time. I have done it all remember? I received it at work and immediately went to the store to get my lemons, a few weeks prior I was eating clean and taking laxative teas at night already and replacing meals with protein shakes filled with vitamins and no sugars. I was inadvertently preparing for my Master Cleanse. When I started reading the book in preparation I already had a good start and could begin the very next day, I even got a hand juicer which is the BEST thing you could do as well as a 32 oz water bottle to take with me to work the next day. As I read the book I began to see WHY I FAILED. I had no idea of the amazing benefits of this cleanse, I had not clue about its origin and I knew then and there I was doing it completely WRONG. As I see it now, I believe 70% of people do it incorrectly or misguided. I was a fountain of knowledge about this health tool and I was wiser for it. The first day I did the internal salt bath when I got to work, I was there earlier than usual just because I knew I would need to go within an hour or so, and I did. Then I started my cleanse mix. I figured out 1 lemon renders 4 tbs of lemon juice, and the juicer has the measuring lines. I brought a small knife, my lemons, my tea for 2pm (replacing my caffeine rush) my cayenne capsules and my maple syrup along with my measuring spoon. I did 16oz at a time and found it much easier to drink this way, I also used less maple syrup to increase my changes for weight loss. At noon, food is delivered to my office daily, this is the hardest part for anyone on a diet, a cleanse or a new weight and health program because it's your first test. I sat there and watched everyone go back to their chairs with their boxes of food except for me. I wasn't hungry, by noon I already had 4 glasses and felt full, before 5pm I had 8 and at home I had two more. Before bed I took my laxative tea and went to bed. Here is the tricky part. I've already dealt with waking up in the middle of the night to run to the bathroom because I was taking the teas before so I was not afraid. I welcomed this cleaning process and didn't see it as painful, although at times it was a bit discomforting. It gave me hope. I repeated this process day after day, getting better at timing and process. Immediate changes: I was sleeping deeper, longer and more restful. I had energy all day, I started working out and working out with endless energy and no cramps or pain. My skin became flustered on my face an small bumps appeared, detoxing indeed. I am currently on my 7th day and I have never felt better. I have lost over 6 pounds in these past 6 days. My stomach is shirking everyday. I feel calm, happy, and peaceful. I have a new sense of clarity and understanding of my body and what it needs. I also have respect for it which I did not before this cleanse. Every night I would read more and more about the benefits and the stories of how many ailments and illnesses this amazing cleanse has helped people overcome. I haven't had an Ice Pick headache since I began which I had often. These are like having a small stroke for 10 seconds and there is no cure or treatment for them. I began writing again, and listening to music while I worked out at home and then the gym. I take my dog for longer walks and I run after him with delight. I am not that old but I was lazy and complaisant and I desperately needed a shortcut to good health which DOES NOT EXIST. I have been recommending it to everyone I know, because it is working for me. The biggest change for me was my alcohol cravings. Ever so often I needed a beer or a glass of wine or two. Mostly from stress which I also DO NOT experience anymore. My Cortisol levels are down and I the happiest gal on earth. I will do this cleanse for the rest of my life, it is not a miracle, it is a formula for health and success. If you are ready to give up excuses and take control of your health and your life, then make this challenge the biggest one in your life.

I should have done research before purchasing. I am now finding the same Kit all over the internet for a third of the price.

It's so much easier to buy this kit instead of trying to locate everything in more than one store. My only complaint was the Delivery guy, left this package on my doorstep without getting my signature and someone stole it. I was able to get it replaced however. The funny thing is, whoever stole it, must have been embarrassed because the original box was found months later stuffed into a bush...much to their chagrin, it wasn't an electronic, it was syrup!

I enjoyed this kit very much. This has been my first lemonade cleanse. I did aide the cleanse a bit by adding cell food every day. Some friends did the cleanse previous to my doing it. From their perceptions I performed better off than they did. They did not purchase the kit. They had to source all the ingredients locally. Which turned out to be much more expensive than the route I took.
