This is the wife, using husband's Amazon account. :) I REALLY wanted to like this robe. PROS: The other reviews were helpful in getting the size right. I am normally an x-small but a medium in this fit fine. The embroidery is nice cotton, and pretty. CONS: You'll get your size wrong if you haven't read reviews. The fabric feels much "sleazier", for lack of a better term, than I could tell by looking at the picture. The best I can describe is that it's like smooth, thickly weaved "net" or thick hosiery type material for most of the robe. You would think something like that wouldn't wrinkle, but it does. It would need ironing or steaming for me to be "happy" with the look IF I liked the fabric, which I don't. The embroidery is cotton, and lovely, but is not as ornate and detailed as the photo portrays. The buttons are round plastic which aren't really pretty enough for the robe, but even if they were, the loops the buttons fasten into would be a deal-breaker IF I liked the rest of the robe. The loops are made from stretchy elastic instead of cloth - those tend to break easier in my experience with other similar items of clothing. Also, I buttoned the top button to see how the bosom area fit, and the loop got twisted and was very difficult to undo again (to fold up and re-pack to return). I hate to give negative reviews, but I always appreciate when people spend time giving details that might save me hassle in purchasing something I won't be pleased with.

This robe runs extremely small and is also very short. I’m 5’7 145 lbs, ordered the large and it didn’t come close to closing and was above my knees. Total crap.

I am 5'5" with a 26 waist. I ordered the Medium since it was the only one left. It fits me fine, although I would prefer it to be more fitted.The lace detail is gorgeous in the front and I can't wait to use it for getting ready photos for my wedding.I will update with pics later on!

i wish i could give this five stars because its so so so so cute it definitely looks like the photos and is actually really good quality but not true to size. not even close.

Well made, nice fabric, and beautiful design, from what I read that it ran on the small size, so true buy next side up. But, the buttons are on the cheap side. I did moved them and purchase beautiful buttons, now the gown is perfect. That was my choice, I just don’t like cheap plastic buttons.

This is really beautiful!! Ordered an xlg as I read the comments about it running small. I usually wear a medium at 5'9" 132 lbs. and this fits great. Beautifully woven and tailored. Excited about this purchase and hoping this helps.
