Had to struggle to assemble it with my husband and use a rubber hammer to slide the tubes into each other because it was very tight. Then to install It on the vans roof it was even harder. The screws are so big that they protrude too high and don’t allow a box to be placed in the rack from edge to edge so you loose about 4-5inches in the width. It’s ok if you put a soft items there but not a hard box. We bought it just in case we needed to load some items from the inside of the van to the roof rack on the way back but did not need to do it so the rack is just empty. It was very quiet driving with it so that a big plus. However, just after a month and a half and the car being garaged already noticed rust spots at the points where there was welding. Very disappointed with that in San Diego, CA. Too late to return it so will have to take it off and paint it before it gets too rusty.

No instructions on how to assemble, no cargo net like advertised. Sent back ordered a different one

Ikea instructions are great compared to these. Given, this is not the most complicated, but it seems to have parts that have no reasonable use included and the instructions provided dont give any direction on where they are used or how, but show them included as something that should be a part of the assembly process. So... good luck!

Excellent product and heavy duty!

Did not fit as the item is listed. Sad to return. I really need one that fits. It was a little hard to put together and the clamps did not flex to sit on my bars.

I bought this for my son in law and he loves it. He put it on the minute he received it!
