My grandmother is 92 and still has beautiful skin, and the only facial moisturizer she uses is plain aloe vera and has done so for most of her life. Calily Aloe is my Step 3, and I use it all over my face after I cleanse with Goat's Milk Soap and use Thayer's Rose Witch Hazel as my exfoliator (witch hazel is a natural chemical exfoliator that gently helps remove dead skin cells for glowing skin and goat's milk naturally contains Lactic Acid which also acts as a gentle exfoliator).All the one-star reviews for this product complain about the watery consistency. Well, guess what! That's how pure aloe vera is supposed to be. That thick gel like Aloe you buy at Walmart is loaded with thickeners and preservatives that aren't good for your skin. I used to actually use the aloe straight from the aloe plant, and it has a watery consistency too, just like this aloe vera gel. Only instead of having to buy another aloe plant every few weeks, a bottle of this lasts me at least 6 months with daily use.I keep it on my bathroom counter and I love how convenient it is to use because of the pump. I had used another organic Aloe Vera brand that spoiled fairly quickly because it didn't have any preservatives, and I've never had that problem with Calily. It contains ascorbic acid, a type of vitamin C that acts as a natural preservative, and it also has honeysuckle which has natural antibacterial properties and is wonderful for the skin.Aloe has been used since ancient times. It is antipruritic, reduces inflammation, accelerates wound healing, and is a natural humectant. It's not exactly a moisturizer but it will hydrate the skin in addition to its other beneficial qualities.If you have dry skin, you may need something heavier like a good facial oil in addition to this, but if you have normal to oily skin, this Aloe does wonders on its own.

This Calily Life Organic Aloe Vera Gel for all skin issues is simply the best we have used in a long time. It smells very nice, fresh and is so smooth. Most Aloe Vera gel is sticky but not this Aloe Vera gel. It feels so smooth And soft and goes on so easy. It is great for almost any skin issues. The large bottle is actually very easy to use, and comes with a quick action pump. We were really impressed with how fast this Aloe Vera gel works and how soft it makes your skin feel almost immediately.

I can tell by the watery consistency and the smell that this product is not fake. (Sure, the ingredient list is supposed to tell all, but sometimes they don't). I've been using this on my dog's sensitive skin and I use it on mine when I epilate and after a bit too much sun. Soothing and refreshing - will continue to buy this product because of the decent price and quality!

I love Aloe vera and the goodness it brings. I can't even imagine a life without the benefits it offers. Not just on my hair, health, but also on my face.

Did not like this. It was to runny.

It's so smooth on my face, I just feel so lucky to have found this. I couldn't have gone to something with far more harmful chemicals than what I've used before,.

I have sunburn for no reason and I like to use organic products to treat it. I get it from this alo vera gel.

This is my go-to whenever I burn. It's so natural, so I know that it'll only help my skin. It relieves and cures it very fast, too!
