Ace Classic Salon Prof Tufted Brush, 1 Count

My dad gave me one of these brushes over 20 years ago and I was excited to find the exact brand and style. Now that I've gotten it I realize the quality is somewhat different that what I was given over 2 decades ago. The vast majority of the bristles are black plastic (not the brown boars bristle). On my older version it's about 50/50. The plastic is of slightly lower quality as well.The spirit of the brush is still there. Still without being too hard. Great for taming curly hair. Unfortunately I worry that the plastic bristles will wear differently over time. I'm confident the slightly lower quality plastic handle will last but I'm glad I've still got my original from the 90s.

After trying several other brands of brushes for men, I settled on this Ace brand as the best of the low price choices. Its bristles are stiff enough to brush the hair, rather than mushing it around like the too soft brushes do. It does the job. ie: the Conair has too soft bristles that don't work on hair so well.

Its a hairbrush, not much to write about here.
