Dear Boy,: A Celebration of Cool, Clever, Compassionate You! Hardcover – Picture Book, 23 April 2019

My mom got me the Dear Girl version when I was in High School and wrote a little note in it. I read it every so often because it reminds me to be strong and brave (corny I know) as the girl she raised me to be. I just had my first baby, a little boy 11 weeks ago and I found the "Dear Baby" near me and I immediately picked it up. I thought there must be one for boys too and here it is. They are so cute and easy to read to your littles. It is a good reminder like "Don't be afraid to get dirty" or "remember to share" and "make sure to always follow your dreams" Those may not be with this book has in it(I have only looked at once) but it has things in there like that that remind boys to be brave, and strong, and curious, and Intune with their emotions. I hope my son loves to read this and is reminded that his mom thinks he is the best thing ever and he can do anything he puts his mind to, and I will always be there to support him. the drawings are so cute, and the words are simple making it easy to read when they get a little older and start reading.GET THE BOOK!

This book is well written. It has a great message and great graphics. I initially bought the Book Dear Girl and I loved the message in that one as well. Basically, it's a great book that encourages kids to be who they are. I bought this book as a gift.
