I am dairy allergic so thanks to Amore di Mona for making some outstanding vegan chocolate that myself and others like me can enjoy. The fruit and Caramela bars are the absolute best and I honestly wish they made a few more flavors like maybe mango or cherry…hint hint. The flavor of the chocolate is rich and the fruit flavors are very mild rather than intense which may matter to some. If you don’t like fruit in your candy and like coffee in your chocolate and don’t mind the extra caffeine, their coffee bar is great also. This stuff isn’t cheap, it isn’t always available and don’t have it shipped in the heat since you’ll probably end up dissatisfied.

Christmas gift small size for the money

Cream, smooth, and very tasty. My favorite is the cranberry! But the cherry is great too. The currant is good, but I don’t eat it as quickly as the other two. I’m a celiac with a very strict no gluten or soy allowance, but finding chocolate that I actually like to eat is almost impossible as the chocolate manufacturers almost always use soy as an emulsifier. Thankfully, this brand has given me a little piece of heaven back. I will admit it’s expensive, but it’s worth it.

Delicious. Wow. This is expensive, special stuff. It is not Hershey's. Just eat a tiny bit at a time and savor it like you do high end chocolate. When you give up dairy and processed sugar, having a candy bar is a celebration. I'm torn on the agave nectar part...still researching that for myself, but it made the texture of the "caramel" one amazing.

The price of this candy lead me to believe it was higher quality. It was not. It had a waxy taste. I have had many better vegan chocolates.

Very fine taste. Allergen-free. Almost deserving 5 stars had it not been for the agave syrup being advertised as "diabetic friendly". Agave syrup as a sweetener is delicious. But it contains more fructose than high-fructose corn syrup (fructose:glucose ratio for agave is between 2.5:1 and 3:1, whereas it is usually slightly over 1:1 for HFCS). While fructose is "low-glycemic", it is suspected of being a leading cause of metabolic syndrome, insulin resistance, thus potentially paving the path to type 2 diabetes over time.This is still good chocolate, great if you are trying to avoid dairy, for instance. If you wanted to limit your agave syrup consumption though, look for their plain dark chocolate or (dark) chocolate with currants versions that contain 4 g of sugar per bar, as opposed to any kind of Caramela, which, while tastier, contains 12 g of sugar per bar (they list 1/3 of the bar as the serving size for the Caramelas).

best vegan chocolate...oh sooo yum..since it was first given to me as a gift and since i enjoyed it so much i have given it as gifts to others...vegan and non-vegan......everybody loves it

I purchased for my grandson who is allergic to wheat, nuts, and dairy. I am a diabetic and this really taste great. I will buy again. Low glycemic - didn't raise my blood sugar. 3 different flavors which are packaged nicely.

This is probably the best allergy free chocolate we have ever had.
