The paper feels quite thick, like a Paperback reading book but thicker and sturdier. It arrived on time and takes homemade ink well. So if you wanna use a fountain pen or calligraphy brush you can.

The paper is wonderful quality and the book itself looks beautiful. Delivery was quick, thank you very much.

I know nothing about Japanese accoutrements. I bought this as a presentfor someone and they were delighted.

Good quality paper that takes the ink from my fude pen without show through or blotching. Also, the cells are a good size for Kanji practice.My only complaint is that the spine is quite tight so you have to fold it quite hard and it would have been useful had the sheets been removable. But these are minor quibbles.

Just what the aspiring Japanese writer ordered. This is essentially for kanji writing so it's ideal for students. Really beautifully bound too.
