Waterproof Membrane for Bathrooms and Shower Rooms / 108sqft / 1m x 10m / (3' 3"x 33')

I use Schlüter products daily and am not happy with the deception. That said, I will give it a shot. Also a tip for people using Schlüter membrane or similar membranes you mud down.....I use rapid set mortar to install it or I use a regular modified thinset if I know I’m not going to install tile on it for several days. The recommended un-modified thinset just doesn’t stick. Edited portion....used this product in 3 showers now. It is not any less flexible or harder to work with than Schlüter. It’s almost identical. Read my recommendations above and you’ll have no issues. I would have given 5 stars but the deceptive practices of Amazon or the retailer is not ok.

I gave it a three because it was easy to return. We opened it and and realized the product we had order was not Kerdi. Since we started with kerdi we returned this without using it so I cannot comment on it's quality.

Ive been duped. Didnt say shluter anywher on the listing but i didnt know they made knock offs now so thats on me. I will not use this because it feels thin and cheap. It may be fine but beware its not Shluter.

The printed grid marks helped mark for cuts.

DON'T BUY IT!!! Should get ZERO stars. Thought it felt different when I first opened it up. Unfortunately I got my project half done before I bothered to check to see if this was real Kerdi. It's not. The only thing it has in common with Kerdi is the color. Now I'm out $160 for a fake product and have to reorder and on top of that my project is thrown off schedule. Not only that, I got half my walls covered with this crap and I'm going to have to tear it down and start over and I'm out a bag of mortar. It's my fault for not paying attention when I ordered. This stuff is like covering your walls with plastic wrapping paper. I've used Kerdi before (several years ago) but still should have realized this stuff is not the real thing. Don't waste your time and money. My walls and floor that I'm trying to protect are too important to trust to some CHEAP KNOCKOFF. Save yourself time and money and get the real thing.

Thought it was Kerdi brand. It was not but still works amazing!

Great product that we have used many times.

This is not a Kerdi product. My professional tile guy, who knows exactly what he is doing, was unable to use this. The kerdi bonds to thinset, this does not. It is disappointing that this item was an Amazon choice and it really is misleading to have it in the orange color. There is no writing or documentation for ANSI standards. The building inspector would not be able to tell if it meets code. Since it wont bond to anything, i had to purchase the REAL Kerdi material to complete the job and am returning this material. This is not what you want to buy.
