Essential Volkswagen Karmann Ghia
Gives a history of the Karmann Ghia, but is not overly long. Contains a lot of nice pictures, about half are color. If I recall correctly, it was a bit pricier than other books on the subject, but it was exactly what I was looking for. It's good for setting out on a coffee table.

A pretty good book on the subject
Bought a used version and happy with this book that covers the evolution of the Karmann Ghia. Don't expect a shop manual. It's a good overview of the car and has some nice pictures. A smallish paperback.

Fantastic guide
This book is fantastic.I'm no car enthusiast but the curvy lines of Karmann Ghia caught my eye lately. I ventured to dream of buying one, but first I wanted to know just a little bit about the car. This book gave me almost everything I was looking for; Great photographs, description of evolving body changes, and the essential improvements made under the hood. The book covers all 3 Ghias and does so in less than 80 pages. It is not a technical manual but a narrative brochure. And Mr. Meredith's writing style is so smooth and eloquent, that you can't escape the feeling you're reading a car-manual worthy of a Nobel Prize Winner In Literature.

Excellent book
This is a great book. While it isn't all encompassing it is interesting and informative. I'd suggest it as a good addition to any VW addicts library!!

Good content and details, an easy read...
Good books on Ghias are difficult to come by - This is definately the best I've seen or thumbed through. Details the Coupe's and Cabriolets seperately and covers all the major changes to details through the cars production, backed up with some excellent photographs. Also covers type 3 Ghias.
