Good
Heats up FAST for sure. Doesn't seem whistle all the time. The spout is situated low so I can't fill it up past "half way" without it bubbling onto the stove. If being "full" is not an issue, the I think you should get it. It is very nice looking too!

Whistling Tea Kettle Doesn't Whistle
The only reason I'm giving it more than 1 star is because it boils water and I like how it looks. However, the main selling point of this tea kettle for me was the pleasant whistling sound it would make. Needless to say, it does not make a whistling sound. I troubleshooted it over multiple boils - making sure the top was securely fastened in some cases, and seeing if loosening the top a little bit would work in other cases. No amount of fiddling made this whistling tea kettle whistle. Perhaps it's just too shy.

Rust & Tarnish in less than 6 months
I loved this tea kettle straight out of the box. I leave my tea kettle on the stove all the time so this definitely went well with my stainless steel appliances. After a few months the tea kettle began to rust on the inside and outside became very dull. I tried soaking it in Lemon Juice to see if I could get the tarnish and rust off but it did not work. I do not recommend this product. While it was not very expensive I suggest putting money towards a glass kettle or other item of better quality. I put this kettle in the trash.

Almost perfect
Really like this kettle. There is one thing that needs to be changed, the met knob on top of the cover gets so hot you have to use a pot holder to take it off.

It does not whistle at all. And is a pain in the but yo clean, I went back to my old one I bought fro Ralph Lauren.
