Great water tank level monitor
Great device, monitors our ranch water storage day tank, gives us peace of mind when traveling away from the ranch that the tank is filling and flowing out to the stock tanks. Very reliable, and easy to set up.

HIghest Recommendation for this Unit
Has been a lifesaver over the summer. We use this for an 8000 gallon community tank and have been pleased with the accuracy, even for our large holding tank. The initial unit had a fatal issue, but the company replaced it without hassle and the new unit has been flawless. It was easy to install and set up, it reaches our home WIFI 100 yards away, the WIFI reporter has withstood 115 degrees this summer, and the reports go directly to our phone app. It is programmable so we tell it how often to report, and when to notify us of sudden changes. The premium program is inexpensive and allows us to download data over a specified period of time so we can see the water usage over any given interval. We are very pleased with this unit.

Connectivity is an issue!
Quality product if you manage to keep it connected. After one year, mine started to drop connection btw the transmiter and the receiver every couple of months, then every month, then every week,... and now it drops it every day. If you plan to monitor your tank level remotely you will likely need to replace it every other year or so. Personally, I found it way to expensive for how reliable it is.

Every water storage tank should have one
I can honestly say that I have zero regrets about this purchase. The system is accurate enough for my needs and I can check the water level at a glance from my smartphone or from any computer anywhere in the world. Checks are done every 15 minutes and values are updated online every 30 minutes. If the water level in our 2800-gallon tank drops below 75%, I get an alert. If it drops below 50%, I get another alert. 75% means "keep an eye on it", while 50% means "something is definitely wrong". That second alert gives me plenty of time to investigate the cause of the problem so that we're not trying to troubleshoot an issue with a well pump at the same time that we have absolutely no water. We can conserve as needed, while continuing to have water for critical needs. And since we keep the well pump's top float switch on such a short tether (pump kicks on at 90%), we know without a doubt that 50% is actionable. This device can easily save you money. I purchased the system in February 2022. Had I purchased it prior to 2020, it would have paid for itself by saving me from having to get a $700 water delivery when our storage tank ran dry during the height of COVID business closures. If I had to buy the system again, for whatever reason, I would do it in a heartbeat. Even if I had to buy a new PTLevel every few years, I would probably do it. I mean, you can't live without water, right? In three years of ownership, I have never had to reconfigure this system. The indoor wireless receiver has never forgotten its settings, nor has the outdoor monitor/transmitter ever failed to transmit data, except when the batteries recently got weak. As Steve Jobs was so famous for saying, it just works. With regard to the batteries in the monitor/transmitter, I just changed the batteries in my PTLevel for the first time since the system was installed in February 2022. That's THREE YEARS on the original AA batteries. So, when the Paremtech folks say that these batteries will last for years, they are not kidding. But do yourself a favor: use good batteries that won't leak. Procells, in my experience, always hold up nicely. One more thing: While changing the batteries in the monitor/transmitter, I discovered that the original gasket for the cover had turned into a gooey mess and could not be reused. I contacted Paremtech to ask them where I might be able to find a replacement, since I was not having any luck finding replacements on Amazon or AliExpress. Paremtech went above and beyond by offering to send me a replacement cover with gasket, as well as an additional spare gasket. I did not expect that, but I sure do appreciate it! PTLevel is a great product and Paremtech offers great support. Buy with confidence!

What a pleasure!
When I bought my place 22 years ago there was no remote monitoring solution for my water tank, which is 1000 feet up a hill and over a rise, that didn’t require power up there (which I don’t have) - so I “invented” a home brew system that served me well with float switches in the tank and an LED readout at the house, all connected by actual wire and a 12V power supply. But it was finally getting long in the tooth so before repairing it I decided to see what’s out there now. I bought the wireless PT Level system and could not be happier! The level sensor/transmitter runs on 4 AA batteries (apparently, for a couple YEARS per set) and uses “long range wireless” (not WiFi) to communicate with a receiver at the house. The receiver IS WiFi connected - so it uploads the tank level info to a server - and now you can see your tank level from your phone or web browser - as well as set alerts to warn you if level is going low. Installation could not have been simpler and it worked right off the bat. Very pleased.

Can be a very useful tool but needs upgrading
The unit should be able to function with an App as opposed to having to log onto a website. The clear plastic tube looses accuracy when water gets into it (I'm not quite sure how that is happening). The concept is great and it's quite a simple setup and it's very useful to monitor my 20,000 gal tank which distributes drinking water for cattle around my farm. Also helps indicate leakage in the distributing pipes due to notification of when the water level drops below the preset level.

Reliable and solid!
Going on 5 years old. Amazing in all regards. Accurate. (if you do the rare and easy maintenance tasks) great communication on WiFi. I have only changed the batteries once. Really. I am a big fan!

Great Quality, Spectacular Value!!
This is the only system I've been able to find that provides near real time readings that are amazingly accurate. Easy to install and the customer support is second to none. This is a very high quality item for the money.

Installed easily in our 5' deep well tank which is about 100' from our home. No issues with connectivity between the tank and wifi modules. The app takes a little getting used to but it does tell me everything I need to know about the tank water level. Alerting works well too. Great solution.

Worked great. Very easy to install compared to other products that I’ve looked at. Still playing a bit with getting it calibrated for my water cistern levels, but the app works great and I would buy it again

Bought this to monitor the cottage water tank level. Used the PTDevices WiFi app for Android and was a seamless connection to the WiFi. Put he sensor onto the tubing and lowered into the tank and proceeded to calibrate the unit. The calibration is your percentage estimation of the tank water depth in relation to the tank capacity based on either metric or imperial. The example in the instructions used inches so I used imperial 48 inches and input the percentage then synced the sensor unit to the WiFi unit. Instead of the 80% calibration I expected, the web display showed 8%. It would appear that the measurement must be based on feet or meters as when I changed the calibration measurement to feet, the percentage was correct.

Was amazingly surprised on how easy this installation was. This is a phenomenal product and immediately was impressed on the accuracy. Just installed last weekend on my trickle system cistern. Now I now if I have enough water for my loads of laundry/showers. I saved 600$ from a professional install for the same product. It took me 30 minutes to install, time to re-fill my cistern to calibrate the reading to read 100% and voila. I now know how much water a load of laundry and a long shower uses, thanks to PT Device.
