Looks like this holder was made for adult wire framed glasses, not for a 5 year olds plastic glasses.

I got this as a gift for my niece because she needed a cute safe place for her peeper helper’s. She loves it! She just turned 11 it was a birthday gift and she loves kittens so she was just so giggling happy. Plus she loved a secret place to hind her birthday money from her brothers in the bank area. We’re very happy 😊 with it.

This is super cute. Bought this as a gift for my 5 year old. It's a little hard at first to get used to how you have to open the glasses up a certain amount to put on. Instead of just setting them on one handed, you have to use 2 hands to make sure they are open/closed the right amount or they fall off. My daughter loves it otherwise!

He's super cute and the added bank is nice for change, but the cat doesn't hold my glasses real well and it's a bit of a pain to get them to stay. The cat was larger than expected and ro be able to use for you glasses he takes up alot of room.

Our only problem was her earpieces do not collapse like regular glasses. So she can’t use it yet! But she will still love cats when she’s into the regular collapsing glasses in a year or so!

This was a present for my daughter and she loves it. I didn't even realize that it was also a bank. Her glasses fit on it really well. We haven't used it as a bank yet though.

Love this figurine. So cute and useful. Have it on my nightstand. I wear my glasses during the day and the little cat wears them at night. Not particularlyd heavy, but so far my real live cat hasn't knocked it off like he constantly does my glasses. I do wish it was a bit heavier, but still adorable.
