The Outsiders

We bought it for our son because he was reading the book!! Now it’s one of his favorites!! I remember reading it as a teenager!

Good movie, followed the same themes as the book.

Good quality movie one of my favorites go Ponyboy

I liked the movie growing up & what I enjoyed most about it was all of the stars from the golden years growing up played & acted in one hit of a movie. Only thing I disliked about the movie was it was too short & not like what is out there nowadays that lasts for nearly 3 hours. I used my movie as a collector item stored on my bookshelf with other movies of my own interest that I intend to collect more of the early classic movies.

My 13 year old has read this book 7 times and watched the movie more times than I can remember. She has the 50th anniversary hard back and she takes great care of it. Very nicely crafted.

I bought this thinking it would be the movie I loved but no it started out good with Ponyboy writing as I stepped out into the bright light from the darkness of the movie theater plays the opening title and then it goes straight to Johny and Pony meeting Dallas before the movie skipping him being chased by the Soc's and getting a blade pulled on him and having the gang help him also it skips a couple of other smaller scenes so overall it was not the whole movie and I am highly disappointed I love The Outsiders and this is a disgrace and I am appalled that this was sold to people and If I could I would give it negative 50000000000000000000000000000000000000 stars

the sound quality is so-so, the DVD video keeps stalling.

Wonderful movie! I am fifty-four and still love the story. In middle school my English teacher, Mrs. Eberly read this to our class aloud. My fifteen year old daughter loved the audio book and movie as much as I did as a kid. She even wrote an extra credit report in her English class, she got an A!
