Makes old guns usable
I inherited an old shotgun that has a brass front bead that was nearly impossible to see. This fiber optic sight snapped right on the barrel and made it usable. Fits tight, shines bright.

Buy multiple will break.
It was a tight fit on my 12 gage Mossberg Maverick 88. But was able to get it on and looked great. Placed it in its case and got to the range to try it out and it had broke in half. Seems like this is best for only temporary not long term. Will be replacing.

Better than others I tried.
Very tight fit, which is GREAT. I got one for double this price but it kept flying off the gun and getting lost. This one sits snug and tight. Not quite as bright as the other one, but still works well.

good enough
since the maverick 88 has a basically minuscule bead sight, this improve your aiming without have to change anything.

Upgrade to a Maverick 88
As you know Maverick is a thrifty shotgun that can use upgrades. This is one I recommend. It raises the front sight just enough that it makes it a truer shot. Before I found I had to aim just below my target. This is a snap-on piece that has a notch for the existing front sight which isn't perfect but helps you line it up with no effort. Super cheap and looks good on a black barrel. The green color shows up great with a dark background but less so shooting at day time in an open field. However, still better than a standard stock front sight.Installation: I recommend having the grun on the ground or in front of you against a wall to desk that doesn't move. Start at the front of gun pushing it over the barrel using a thumb and knuckle on both sides of thee filamernt at the other end of the sight not pressing directly on the green filament. Once you get it started at the tip apply pressure to the other side and it should snap on. Be patient.

Good quality
Nice, inexpensive sight. It has a small "V" notch on one end that will slide right up on a bead sight and sort of lock in place. Fits tight on the barrel. Have one on my shotgun and the kids BB guns.

Cost more in Gas....
Just like every other review, it broke on install. Just got it in the mail 4/9/25, broke same day. It'll cost me more in gas to take to a usps store for return than what item the is worth. So I'll just call it a loss. To tight for 20 gauge and extremely tight for 12 gauge. Sloppy fit for .410. Even let it set in hot water for few minutes in hopes of preventing breakage. Soon as I snapped it on the barrel it fell into 2 pieces in my hands.

Plastic material broke - Possibly short term use only
Initially, I really liked this product, as I recall I used it for a shoot class and held and worked good, easy to see, etc.It has a little V notch to put against the regular bead sight (which I didn't have, and slipped or turned a little bit, but didn't really matter so much above having a good visible sight)After having it for a while though I found it had broke and fell off which I never expected and was disappointing. Now I have to find something else. If you were only going to use it short term or something like that it probably wouldn't matter, otherwise I would find something else from the get go.
