Good solution
My guard from the factory fell off on the second day I owned my brompton. This one fit perfectly and has 3m double sided tape. It should be good to go for a while.

Necessary to protect Brompton frame
This is a necessary purchase for your Brompton when folding up the bike and locking in the front wheel. The Brompton comes with a clear tape in this area which quickly gets distorted once you open the bike for the first time. Thereafter, once that protection tape is gone the hook will rough up the paint on the stay.Hence this frame guard is worth the purchase price. It has sticky tape on the inside that is revealed when the sticker is peeled off. I made sure where the hook sat before installing. So far this piece has stayed in place without issue.

Fits great, looks good
The guard snapped right into place on my Brompton, fitting perfectly. The 3M adhesion strip appears solid and time will tell if it stays over the long-term. The carbon finish looks good and durable. I'm happy!

It works.
Just might be harder to take off because the adhesive is pretty strong.

Too expensive and took two weeks to arrive
This is a protector for a bike frame. It's literally a small, curved, piece of plastic and some adhesive tape. I could have 3D printed it and used some double-sided tape to create it. I'm sure some black PETG and a few hours on my CAD program would have done it. If I had known it would take two weeks to deliver I would have done this. The result would have been 2 grams heavier, $14 cheaper, and I would have had it the next day.
