Perfection!
THE best scratcher I have ever tried! Great scratching, good coverage, but it’s just the right amount of scratch. Not soft, but ALMOST too much in all the best ways! I’m 37 and this is the best back scratcher I have used in my life, and I am saying that literally.

Not just for your back
This is by far the most satisfying scratcher I've ever used. Worth every penny and then some. The bristles are not too soft and not too rough and they really hit the spot every single time. Even after I've stopped scratching, I can still feel the blissful satisfaction all over. The build quality is superb and I can tell that it will last forever

Best investment I’ve made in a long time
Gone are the days of meandering through the house searching for the perfect doorway to fall victim to your furry and ever so itchy back, leaving behind back hair that your wife is just going to yell at you about later. The head of this back scratcher is shaped to mimic your palm, with the bristles spaced and arched perfectly to provide you with the sensation of scratching with your nails. The bristles are are firm, but not so hard that they will leave marks on your sensitive skin.I am impressed by the build quality-the handle is comfortable to hold, and the scratcher is not heavy. My biggest concern was that the bristles would fall out after heavy use, but one month later (with nightly use), I don’t see that happening. And trust me, I really go to town with this thing. This back scratcher is down right magical. I would go as far as to say it’s saved my marriage, since I’m not waking my wife at odd hours of the night to get that hard to reach spot.At a ~$40 price point, it is a bit pricey, but translates into great build quality.I have recommended this back scratcher to my friends and family, and will continue to do so. If I could get these for $25ish, I’d buy a handful to place strategically around my house.

Good scratcher
Got the extreme version and glad I did. It delivers a good, deep scratch. Not as intense as the advertising suggests, it’s not painful. But if you have sensitive skin I guess it would be rough. Price is kinda a lot for what it is which is a nicer quality version of one of those shower scrubbers. But it does a good enough job that I won’t return it. If the price was lower it would be 5 stars for me.

Quality and function...Superb..
Instant itch-gasm. I wanna itch just so’s I can scratch it away with this thing. The (Extreme version) bristles are, to quote a famous little blonde 👧 , “Just right”. VERY well made and finished. I can’t see this thing lasting any fewer than a thousand years. The handle is plenty long. Expensive. Yes. Worth the $. Yes. Definitely a ‘better mousetrap’.

The BEST back scratcher!
My wife bought this for me for Christmas and “we” loved it so much that we bought one for each floor so they would be readily available. This has been a life saver. I had nerve damage in my back about 40 years ago and this keeps the itching well under control. I had several in the past that broke. This is well made and will definitely not break. My wife also got one for my brother-in-law and he uses it all the time. Cant say enough good things about it. Buy it, you won’t be sorry.

At last!
After years of putting up with flimsy metal and wood backscratchers, I finally duct taped a cat brush to a swiffer handle. That did the trick for a number of years until the metal tines started to break off, then the search began all over again. When by back starts to itch, it’s not one little place it’s an entire area, something that a majority of back scratchers can’t handle. When I saw this, I knew I had found a solution. The length is perfect, allowing me to hit any area with ease. The bristles are stiff enough to resolve most any itch, but also wide enough to spread over more surface area and not dig into any one area. The only reservation I had was the price; a bit stiff for a backscratcher, but I plan on using it for years to come.Someone finally understands!

Extreme is the only version that scratches but with a fatal design flaw
I used and kept my Extreme Bulldog in the shower and despite the smooth glossy feel to the wood, it quickly got mildewy in the bristle area by storing it in the shower. This was during the winter and nowhere else in the shower had mildew. And although it's not mentioned on the Amazon page, when you get the brush there are instructions explicitly stating not to get it wet. Of course I ignored this, thinking they just wrote that to avoid complaints about bristles being soft after being exposed to hot water. Nope, it's because it will get moldy and you'll end up throwing it out. It's a shame too because who the heck would want to use this on their couch or over their floor? It will will rain dead skin cells everywhere. Think grating parmesan cheese. Ew. I hope they re-design or introduce a shower version at some point. While they're at it, there's no reason why the bristles can't cover the whole head like every other back brush.I also agree with other reviewers that the brush would be more usable with a curved handle. The extreme version really does scratch the itch and I am not aware of another product that is as effective (and no boar hair!) I hope they respond to user feedback and make design revisions because this is definitely a keeper once they get it right!
