BIG BANG THEORY S1-11 [Blu-ray] [2018]

I’m a huge fan of The Big Bang Theory but always watched it sporadically through the years and with it ending this year I wanted to try and watch all seasons and episodes.I put this complete set in my cart weeks ago and when the price dropped the other day I was ecstatic. When I started reading reviews, which I normally do before I purchase an item online, I started getting nervous about buying as other buyers said the disc would not work in the US. After doing some research on distribution regions I decided to buy.The set came today in perfect condition and disc one played fine for me. I live in the US, PNW to be exact, and I played the first disc on my very basic standard Sony blu Ray player which I think I maybe spent 80 bucks on if that.The only weird thing I noticed so far was his disc menu on disc one doesn’t have or for some odd reason I can’t access an episode list. The four episode I watched today just played all the way through one right after the other which may be fine for some people. I just prefer to select episodes one by one so I always know where I am at in a season.

Just received this set today, unbelievable the amount of bad reviews! Gonna clear up what I was skeptical about before purchasing. All discs have menus and special features, Blu Ray’s all look like original blu ray’s, not cheap knockoffs. Yes, there are no cases, but, I personally like the cardboard holders as they all have the original cover art and the info on the back. Played flawlessly on my XBOX ONE S. Very very satisfied with this purchase so far, specially given the cheap price compared to the upcoming complete series. Great way to own the physical copies of one of my favorite series!!

It is very hard to say goodbye to friends after so many years. We would miss all the laughs and fun times. This set of DVDs arrived quickly and is an exceptional value. Episode 1 seems a little low def, but all of the other episodes have been very sharp Don't expect all the fancy menus you might find on other discs, but episodes are easy to navigate. For all of the episodes (except last season), the price was very good, just have to get the last season. Be prepared for lots of laughs.

Though there was some issue with users not being able to play on US players, I can confirm that the Blu-ray versions of the discs play just fine on a standard Blu-ray player. In my case, I have both a Panasonic player, circa 2005 or so, and a computer drive purchased last year, and encountered no problems at all.I am very happy to have this series on disc, as it is truly one of the smartest comedies, and no matter how many times I watch any episode it never fails to make me laugh.

ALOT of the reviews are saying these won’t play in the U.S.....but I’ve not have a problem with mine. My mother actually bought this set for me for my birthday so I wasn’t there to make sure she didn’t buy DVDs for the wrong zone. Anyway. Maybe I just got lucky? ...or maybe the seller has fixed the issue? Regardless, I love this show and I’m soooo thankful that I now have the complete set!I guess it’s up to you...whether you want to take the chance or not!Hope you have a wonderful day!

Well alrighty okay then Saver Sales is the Distributor and Amazon still RULES! I do LOVE this Television Series/Television Shows especially the entire Castmates/Crews are so very awesome excellent great super fantastic terrific very cool also especially I always LMAO when I watch whether on Television or on Streaming but I’m extremely very happy in owning Them now just minus the Final 12th Season which will end in Spring of 2019 then released in Summer of 2019 to own the total complete set!! I absolutely completely definitely positively totally highly recommend to see, watch and own all of Them!!!

Everything as described, nicely packaged, no damages, discs do come in cardboard envelopes instead of cases but I was already aware, some people weren’t aware, blu-ray is region free, it has all the episodes and brief synopsis of every episode on each individual season envelope, best deal to get all the seasons up to this point in time, it is PAL instead of NSTC, so quality may difer slightly to what you may be use to but only if you are aware in the difference, no issues watching, great series to get into and stay in to binge watch and plenty to catch up on!

Yes each cardboard case a has two discs. I had to replace my old set I wore out. Quality is just as good as my old discs.

I imagine that most people are familiar with this TV show so I won't comment on the show itself. I live in the US and through an interesting quirk it was cheaper to purchase this from UK Amazon than US Amazon. Also, the complete 12 season set is really expensive for preorder right now so it is currently cheaper to order this set and preorder season 12 separately. Who doesn't like to save money?
