I've found that in order for this lamp to give out enough light you nearly have to have it two inches from the plant. Unless of course you have both heads pointing at the same plant. But that hardly seems reasonable to have two light sources that only work effectively in tandem aimed at a single target. The timer is great. The clamp, though large, isn't very strong. I almost think the almost matte finish to the LED housing (the "glass") is the cause of such poor light distribution.

The price went up, so I think I will buy another one of these if the price goes back down. After 5 days of use, my succulent has stopped leaning! It clamps on perfectly to my windowsill. I love the timer feature. Only complaints are that the dimming is a little weird and that you have to have it constantly plugged in and the wire isn’t a very pretty thing to look at. I’m still happy it’s working, though! p.s the LED lights highlight all the imperfections on your succulents that you didnt know they had

This light does very good with smaller seedlings and early veg plants.I like to use the “blue” light while they are in full sun.The clamp is very secure and the lights hold in place well.When in veg mode (red/blue) the leaves literally Praise the Lord!! I love it!!

Great lights to grow small plants. Have this set in my closet growing some nice plants. Doesnt need much electricity.

This thing is so awesome. It works well and quick. Everybody is fascinated by it at work. And my plant looked better within an hour

Bought this to use in my reef tank to grow chaeto algae and has been working wonderfully. The timer is a plus.

Good quality. Working well. I like the round design saving space. Would buy more when I have more plants.
