Love the style, but the quality is not good
I love the style of this product and will continue buying it only because I can't find another soap dispenser than looks similar. If there was a good alternative, I would probably rate this 2 stars. Here are some pains with using the product:* It's very difficult to get the inner container out to refill.* Soap will leak between the plastic container and the faux-metal dispenser during normal use. You will have to clean this between every refill* Sometimes the dispenser gets partially stuck and does not immediately come up all the way. This is probably due to the bullet point above this.If there was a $50 high-quality version of this product I would buy it immediately, but this will have to do for now...

Very stylish and good quality of bamboo
Very stylish and good quality of bamboo,but the pump is not smooth,very tight.It is very difficult to remove the inner compartment to put your soap in.I am wondering how many times I can put soap in before it will be broken?May be there is something wrong with this dispenser? Somebody has it for a long time?

Expensive
Nice and modern look. But wood not durable. It got moldy quickly. Should be cheaper.

Looks good but not recommended for daily use
This is the nicest soap dispenser I have ever owned. I was hesitant about the Bamboo Wood in a wet environment and my fears were proven correct after two years. The first pump began to turn black and eventually the bamboo cover broke. The second one the pump failed after one year and there are NO square 7 oz pumps available to replace, Will not buy a third one.

Pretty good, but a little difficult to navigate
I would have given this item five stars, but it was very difficult to remove the inner compartment to put your soap in. But, with patience and time I got it to work. It's pretty and holds a nice capacity amount of soap.

Poor construction
I recently purchased 6 of these bamboo soap dispensers. While contemporary and gorgeous initially, the bamboo began splitting at the seams within a week. I returned one and the same thing happened. Now my return window is closed so I'm writing a review. DO NOT PURCHASE this item.... the design is flawed making the soap dispenser mechanism very hard to use and re-filling soap a nightmare.

I was really bummed about this purchase because I liked the design
This looks a lot nicer than it actually is. The bamboo base was made well, however the metal insert that is supposed to go inside the bamboo base doesn't fit right! I literally couldn't get it inside, so it was essentially unusable. I've tried pushing it in, and it just doesn't fit. I was really bummed about this purchase because I liked the design. This wasn't worth it, ESPECIALLY for the $$.

Disappointing
Love the look--but we could not get the top off to fill the reservoir. We tried every method described by other reviewers, over two days. We had to return it.
