Avoid !
Amazon actually automatically recommended this for my car - incorrectly !The steering lock did not fit the steering wheel properly, it compressed the leather and has left an indent...i.e. permanently damaged the steering wheel.I read another review of the product that illustrated this problem, but I ignored it, and I wish I hadn't !WARNING - Do not buy this product !

Waste of time
It’s not universal, and did not fit my car

Read reviews by others
Wish I’d have read the reviews before I purchased! It’s such a tight fit, and marked the steering wheel. It was for my girlfriends new car, it’s safe to say everything is my fault. And I’m probably going to hell.

too small
The system is well known, should be OK but only for car with a fine wheel. It doesn't close on mine, so I don't use it.I put 2 stars because I used to have another one with a similar system and it was good.

Damaged the leather on my steering wheel
First time I used it, it marked my steering wheel due to the rough finish of the inside of the locking part. I have returned the product due to this.

Cheap but not too bad
Cheap steering lock.Doesnt fit on the top of my steering wheel so have to put it at the bottom.Depending on how it is put on it does mark the leather on the wheel but goes away after 10-15 mins.Does the job and no permanent damage.More expensive better ones out there.Using it on a Mercedes A45

Decent protection and visual deterrant
I heard about a few cars being stolen near me so thought a good idea to buy a crook lock. I have this on my Nissan Juke and is easy to fit and can be seen from the road. Not sure if it would survive a sustained attempt to smash/break it as a little bit lighter than other more expensive ones but hope we dont find out.

Not universal, will not fit every car!
I’ve bought 3 of these. In my husbands and daughters cars it fitted fine but it was a tight fit on my car and temporarily marked the leather on my new car. Seems to be an issue for newer cars. Hubby took a pair of pliers to it so it fits better and still works fine. Should have read the reviews!
