The Complete Works of Oswald Chambers Hardcover – April 1, 2013

This is a beautiful companion for a worn spiritual traveler. The writing is honest, well-formed and thought worthy. I keep it out where I can look up a specific topic or just open it to see what comes up. Over the years the pages have become full of my comments the way I would dialog with any book I love.

This is a treasure to me since I have long appreciated Chambers’ “My Utmost for His Highest.” Recently I came across the study Bible of Oswald Chambers, and I found that his complete works would be the perfect companion volume to using the study Bible. I had no idea that it was even available. The seller was prompt in sending the book. Great service for a volume which I know will enrich my faith.

You don’t have to be a preacher or a Bible teacher to find this treasure of books useful. If you were to purchase the separate books alone, it would be a bunch of little books and probably more expensive. I heard this man mentioned in a sermon. I had never heard of him before. Very great read and reference! Get out your highlighter. Still pertinent today.

I am so happy to have found this! I started with his Utmost For His Highest devotional years ago and I read it daily. To find this book with all of his writings combined, brought me joy! This man was after God’s own heart! I’m beyond grateful that his wife was able to release his writings after he passed, far too soon. What an incredible legacy that I’m certain would humble him greatly to know. I never fail to learn from his writings, even if I’ve read them time and again, helping me to grow spiritually.What a privilege to have found his wisdom and profound insights to our Lord’s characters, and guidance to every day life mirroring Christ in one book! Our Savior truly worked through Oswald Chambers.

I’ve been reading his devotional “my utmost for his highest” for a long time and love it. We’ve recently been using the website to do our devotional and they have a “wisdom from Oswald“ at the bottom of each day‘s devotional from other writings. These prompted us to want to read some of the other writings. This collection in one volume is the most convenient way to get everything he wrote.We have been blown away by the amazing theological treatises in some of the other works. Oswald Chambers was an amazing man of God, and bless his wife for capturing much of it for the rest of us!I cannot recommend this more highly. If you’re at all interested in deepening your walk with Jesus, get this!
