Which to buy - this one or the Revlon brush?
So I ended up buying both out of curiosity - I ended up keeping the Revlon brush and returning this one. Here is why:1 - This brush has "Low, Middle, High" settings - clear indicator that it is foreign made as it should say "Low, Medium, High." Also, the Low and High settings are the same, so there really is no "low" - very strange... The Revlon Brush has "Cool, Low, High" settings which work as indicated.2 - The top of this brush gets crazy hot - so much so that I dropped it one day and burnt my leg. So far, the top of the Revlon brush does not get near as hot.3 - When on the high setting, this brush sounds like it is about to explode and the motor has no consistency. The Revlon brush sounds much better.4 - If you pay close attention, there are really only two options of air hair brush to buy on Amazon - this one and the Revlon. This brush is being sold under more than a dozen different brand names, which is pretty sketchy. Look close - it's the exact same brush. All in all - I recommend spending the extra $20 and getting the Revlon.

Love the results
I love this brush. My daughter and I both have curly/wavy thick and frizzy hair. I had washed my hair and let it air dry for a few hours. I know to do this because it is super thick. When i finished using the brush i was amazed how great it looked but most importantly how smooth and frizz free it ended up being. My daughter came out of the shower and we tried it after only towel drying and stopped to let it air dry for about an hour. Waiting that time produced a salon blow out look in about 10 minutes. I believe people with thinner hair could go right from towel dry to done without the air dry. I anticipate we will use this every other day so I won’t be shocked if we burn it out quick. I will update in the future for the longevity. Don’t hesitate to buy it. It’s inexpensive and works.

I LOVE THIS - and my hair is NOT LONG. Buy.This.Now .... UPDATED
Confession: When I pulled this out of the box I was heart-broken, thinking all the “this won’t work for short hair” reviews were true. It is COLOSSAL. But I tried it anyway and...I LOVE IT! I purchased it to replace a similar (though round) Revlon Ceramic. The reason THIS product appealed to me so much is because it’s ONE SOLID PIECE. The Revlon came apart in the middle - the brush is removable. Unfortunately each time I drop it (I’ll take the blame) - the connector breaks worse and I’ve been using it for months all loose and annoying.MY EXPERIENCE: This grabs my hair really really well (much better than my Revlon). I believe it’s because it has the ball tip bristles, which the Revlon didn’t have. Even though it grabbed well, it didn’t tangle with the rest of the hair. It held the hair but easily let go when I wanted it to. This may be because I have short hair - but at first I thought it would get stuck in the hair underneath, but it didn’t.PICTURES: I put it next to an average straightener for size comparison. I’ve also added a photo from my first blow dry which I just did super quickly just 5 minutes ago. I didn’t really “finish” because I was so excited it worked so nicely that I wanted to run and write this review. The photo of my hair is strictly from the dryer - I hadn’t even gotten to the straightener yet. I’m sort of thinking that I may be able to bypass that step. Hmm...I’m not one of those girls that’s good at the hair thing and I’m impatient with hairdryers and such. I cannot emphasize enough how quickly this worked, even for the novice. I’m super excited. Since this is just day one I promise to return later with an update if I find any bad features or fall out of love with it.UPDATE a few days later: Just a silly little thing, but this has tiny bright blue lights that show Low, Middle, High AND Off. There is a bright blue light in the off position. I think that’s weird. Off should be off, not lit up. But anyway... Why do I care? My dresser/hairdryers are in my bedroom and any kind of light makes me crazy. So.. I painted over the “Off” light with black nail polish. The photo shows that and the dryer set to Middle. Still love the product, though. Have used it several times. Quick and simple drying for sure. Just a quirk I wanted to note.UPDATE after one month: Okay, I’m not taking away a star, because this still works great for me. But I would remiss not to add that the “low” setting died within days. As I turn it, it now goes from “off” to “high” to “medium” to “high”. Honestly, I don’t care because I only use medium anyway. It just seems the electric switch is a bit off or something. Remember: I did nail polish over the first couple lights (the off button still glows through it a bit (?!) and makes me a bit crazy in my dark bedroom, but I just make sure it’s turned away from the bed). With that being said, for full disclosure, *perhaps* the nail polish dripped through and short circuited something. I doubt it, though - it seems pretty sealed. But there it is anyway. I still recommend. I promise to come back if anything gets worse, but I’m hopeful.

New and Used Air Brushed Shipped
I purchased two of these. The first I purchased for myself, and was very impressed with the time it saved me, how easy it was to use, and how good it made my hair look. I liked it so much I ordered another one for my mom- but was dismayed to find the second one was used. It had hair in the brush already. The first one I ordered came in a box, and the second in a plastic bag. I reordered right from my purchase history, so I would imagine it came from the same place. Just beware- the item could be new and work great, or it may come obviously used (ick) ! I know I ordered a new item, but that is not what I got.

It straightens hair without drying it out and adds body.
I've been using this for a few weeks now. I like that it drys my hair without making it look dried-out. It does had some body as well as long as I use good products (like foam). It does not save time however, it still takes the same amount of drying time as with my old dryer and round brush. I have shoulder length wavy thin hair so I'm surprised that it still takes so long to get it dry especially at the roots. But I'll keep using it because overall my hair looks better using it. It's a large heavy dryer, just an FYI. Also, the settings all seem the same -- low -- med -high all seem about the same. Not sure what's up with that.

Love it!
Omg was exactly what I was expecting. Did not have to use my hair dryer or my straightener at all. Did both jobs..dried it and styled it all at the same time. Didn't even take me that long. Only downfall is that your arm gets tired turning the brush but that's it. Love it!!! Going to tell all my friends about this brush!

Gets way too hot!!
First off, delivered on time and was in good shape, no concers there. This gets extremely hot on high... Need to make sure it is never pushed up against skin/scalp!! Also, you can't hold on to the end when curling/drying hair, I assumed it was like a curling iron, the end would stay cool.... WRONG!!! It also gets very hot. This does a good job and hair is nice and shiney with no frizz. I'm using it for someone, not myself.... I would be concerned using on myself... Would I be coordinated enough with it to not burn myself...??? Lucky for me, I don't blow dry my own hair.So.... It does what it claims, just be mindful that it gets VERY HOT.
