Good quality. Takes a lot of time to melt even though it is of 150W.

Solid build quality

First the Good Points: Build quality is good out of the box. Does not drip, a very big plus especially when stored on its stand nozzle pointing downwards. Led shows green at the 60W setting and Red on the 100W setting. Trigger adequate. 5 Glue stick (Mario Super) fairly strong. Bonded plywood to wood. Takes a fair amount of strength to take it apart and even then came off with chips of ply. Just testing but would not suggest for woodworking. Now the down-sides. The front plastic part of the gun gets pretty hot. Too hot to touch (when used on 100W). So how well it stands long periods of use, only time will tell. The 100W / 60W seem to be the max draw not the nominal power. As pictures indicate the gun starts from cold at a fairly high wattage about 60 or so (on the 100W setting) and quickly drops finally settling below 20W. Seems some kind of temperature dependent control. The viscosity of the molten glue is slightly less than I would like (read shorter open working time). The accompanying sticks take quite long to cool down and reach full strength. I would not do anything to the bonds for at least 30 mins. None of these are deal breakers at the price. Besides the quality is worth the price. Quite satisfied with the buy.

Used to join the garbage bucket loft handle. Araldite couldn't hold up for long, let's see how long this will last, so far the glue looks strong
