Mountain Woods Wooden Utensil Set, 8 Piece (5-(Pack))

Okay now if you are expecting fully finished glossed spoons its not for you. But this product is exactly what i wanted. Now i can season the spoons and keep them oiled that way i know exactly what is in them.

These don't seem as nice as the picture. The spoons are more oval and spatula are not as wide. They come unfinished, no stain or varnish which I like. For the price, I will keep. The darker ones on the right are after I oiled and conditioned them before use.

I don't know what I was expecting for such a low price, but these were not worth much. Just basic sticks. Rough finish. Spoons too shallow to hold anything. Sure they don't scratch my pans, but they aren't much fun to use either. Maybe better for crafting (paint them, decorate and hang on the wall) than for cooking. I think I will stick with the slightly more spendy bamboo.

Hmmm... How do you rate wooden spoons? If you cook a lot and try different recipes, you'll know that you never have enough wooden spoons. Wooden spoons are the staple of cooking and it takes only takes one to go wrong that you can't live without. Pretty much these spoons are a winner as they are (1) lightweight (2) don't leak unless you overfill (3) don't splinter (4) great for stirring, tasting, and scraping ingredients from around the pot (5) heat resistant as they don't burn and catch fire (6) one piece construction so breaking one is difficult AND best of all (7) they do the job!!! For the price you can't do better!

The open slats in the spatula are not sanded at all, there are splinters everywhere on the inside of the 3 slats. I won't use it as they will undoubtedly make their way into whatever I'm cooking. Other pieces are nice, but I expected better quality on the spatula...

I have not used these spoons yet, but I am very disappointed that I did not get two of the 14 inch long spoons. Instead I got an additional 12 inch spoon.Spoons are sanded nicely, and not coated with any finish. I plan to cost them myself. But because I did not get the 2nd 14 inch spoon, I can only give them 3 stars.

Well, the one with the slits in it is too hard to clean, so we don't use that one. But the rest of them are fantastic! We use them everyday and haven't had an issue with splintering or anything like that.

These are just what I was looking for, and can’t find in stores now, anywhere. I wanted simple wooden cooking utensils that had the small diameter rounded handle, versus the hard-to-hold flat square handles they make now.

I am allergic to latex and these utensils gave me a horrible reaction, almost had to go to the ER. Parawood is another name for Rubberwood, from trees that are tapped to produce...

Nice set of wooden utensils. Don't have trouble with splinters or cracking. Would buy again.

Look great and are durable. Use them every time we cook. They haven't splintered apart yet and definitely don't scratch the pots or pans.

Bought these for my macaw to chew on, but I'm sure they work well as kitchen utensils.
