I have no idea how effective this product is because my puppy freaked when we tried to fit it on him. We bought it to prevent him from indulging in his Pica behavior of eating small rocks and pieces of wood. Fortunately, he seems to be outgrowing it naturally.

Whilst it makes my pug look like Hannibal Lecter, he needs something when he goes on walks. Why? Because he eats rocks and has has three major surgeries (going septic once). Yes, we watch him. He has that super long tongue though and it has a mind of its own.We don’t like putting it on him but it’s a lifesaver, literally.

This worked great for my chihuahua. I use it when he gets a bath and I cut his nails.

This muzzle is great! Easy to train the dog to use it, easy off and on.

Was sent the wrong size and didn't notice right away....pix attached you can see Med/Large on label and small on box. Obviously, Item didn't fit 😳😣

Our little Shipoo can get this off easily. Then it's on to biting!

The product did not fit well and was smashing our dogs nose. Could not use it. We returned unable to use.

Does not stay on my dog at all.

Firstly I have to say that I had no idea the use of this muzzle included Anti-Barking. If I’d had seen that recommendation before I would not have bought it. A muzzle should only ever be used to protect its owner (and others) from the risk of being bitten and even then, for very short periods such as administering treatment to a nervous and agitated dog.That said - I find this muzzle much easier to put on my Lhasa Apso and enables me to give regular ear care without risking my fingers or our relationship. I then reward her when the treatment is finished. Due to the squat anatomy of these dogs faces I still find that care is needed to check their nose is positioned correctly into the breathing aperture. I’m sure this kind of muzzle is much more comfortable for a short nosed dog but again I would reiterate - ONLY TO BE USED FOR THE REASON STATED. A dog wearing a muzzle should NEVER BE LEFT UNATTENDED.Hopefully the sellers will remove the Anti-Barking statement as advertised.
