Blood Tattoo: An American P.I. Novel (A Nicholas Colt Thriller) Kindle Edition

In this latest Nicholas Colt installment, Nick is approached by a person that is part of a secret organization that protects the US from terrorist attacks. Nick is lured in to help, but is it real or is Nick having hallucinations? Well, this book is good in parts and mediocre in others. I can't say I loved this book, in fact, there were times when I almost put it aside and was tempted to start another book. But I hate not to finish a book. How can you possibly know how you really feel about it unless you finish. Sometimes the book redeems itself at the end; although, I cannot say that it did necessarily with this particular novel. But I like the leading character so much that I'm willing to overlook certain flaws. And besides, I've never read a perfect novel, nor do I think a perfect novel even exists. So, with that said: Jude, keep writin' 'em and I'll keep readin' 'em.

I love the Nicholas Colt series by Jude Hardin. This book finds Nicholas working at his studio teaching guitar students and making a decent living. One day a woman named Diana Dawkins books some time with Nicholas. Diana who works undercover for the defense department does not need a lesson but she does need him to take on a mission to protect the president from an assassination attempt. Diana's bosses "the circle" will pay very well but no one must know what Nicholas is doing or they will be killed. No one not even family which makes Juliet his wife very suspicious of Nicholas current actions. This book moves at rapid fire speed and is funny in parts, scary in others and highly entertaining. Only 200 pages or so long and exciting. I will be starting the next one SYCAMORE BLUFF shortly.

Former PI Nicholas Colt, now a music instructor, is sought out by a secret government agency to thwart an assassination attempt.Tempted by a lucrative payoff for his services, Colt agrees to the mission. His wife, Juliet, is at the end of her patience in dealing with Colt's drinking and secretiveness and ready to end their marriage. The plot is full of danger and Colt must rely on his wits to improvise and complete his assignment while Juliet is unknowingly drawn into the situation. The book ends with a very surprising twist. New character, Diana Dawkins, is introduced in BLOOD TATTOO as Colt's contact with the agency. As with the other books in the Nicholas Colt series, I never know what the next page will bring other than Colt will be in trouble up to his eyebrows.

This time his wife is involved in an unimaginable way. He gets recruited into a secret government department that no one, not even the president knows about. The blood tattoo is a symbol of this society & can only be seen with a special light. His job is top secret. You will have to read this book to find out what it was....

I had read the previous book, Key Death and enjoyed Nicolaus Colt's character so much that I continued on with this book, Blood Tattoo and loved it even more. It's truly a page turner that I thoroughly enjoyed . The characters are colorful and believable. I believe I'm hooked on these books and wanting another adventure soon.

Another captivating story line from an Author who has written very good stories before with Nicholas Colt proving to be worth a read having now read five of her "Colt" series I have not tired of the Character

This is another great installment in the Nicholas Colt series. I'm more than eager to read the next book. Have to find out what trouble comes next.

I loved this book and finished it in no time. Kept me curious and wanting more each time I picked up my kindle. I'll definitely read the other Nicholas Colt books!
