Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  My sons' room gets very bright in the morning and they can't sleep well. Summer where I live gets bright before 5:30am. I had blackout curtain before that didn't work well for me cause to clean that up, it had to be removed all the metal hanger and wash them and it collected lots of dust and grime. It was a hassle for me. I needed something more practical to clean, block the sunlight and I had to considered their dust allergies. I'm very satisfied with this shade and so are they. It was very easy to install, easy to clean, def has quality for its price! I'd buy again.

I purchased two sets of these blinds, one each for my daughter and son's bedroom. It's been a little over a week and the feedback results are amazing. The blinds greatly block out the sunlight and can make the bedroom almost completely dark so the kids can take their afternoon naps. What I like most about the product is that it is light weight but strong because the frame is made of good aluminum material. The kit comes with wall mounts and screws, and installation took me just ten minutes each. There is a click and lock clip that securely holds the frame to the mounts. Now for the roller shade, it is white on one side and silver on the other, this is good for reflecting the sun (heat) back out in hot-summers. The shade is easy to pull up and down, also included it a string and bulb that is attached to the end so my kids can even reach. Overall, very pleased with the product and especially at a great valued price point.NOTE: Amazon is currently have some small issues with photo uploads for reviews. I live internationally and ordered these from Amazon USA. I received 3 shades in a timely fashion, however, each shade requires 4 screws to install. All three of the shades came with only three screws not four. This is a big deal for me because where I live (outside USA) material items are VERY hard to come by. This is more than an inconvenience for me. Since all 3 shades came with the same missing part, this is not just an "error". I cannot comment on the viability of the shade because it will take me weeks to find the screws before I can install. (I know I could "rob" screws from the other shades to hang 2 of them, but I prefer to do the job at one time.)

Great product, very sturdy. The installation was fairly easy. The only gotcha is that the mount is very hard to remove once it has been installed. The plastic spring latch is very hard to reach to remove the blind from its anchor. It should be much longer, protruding downwards so it's easier to press on to unlock.

This was a replacement shade. I returned the first because it had been opened and parts of the hardware were missing. This one arrived without installation instructions. This is a problem because of the way the shade is rolled into itself. Hanging hardware has cheap plastic. Because I waited too long to open and install it, I cannot return it. Also the color of the replacement was not what I ordered.

The blinds we received were not white but a silver grey color - on both sides. Not a deal breaker since they are only down when it is dark or hot outside. Aside from that the mechanisms are faulty. Bcause they roll up unevenly, you have to guide the blinds up holding the fabric at each side. The fabric is wearing at the sides and you can see through it and it looks ragged. Disappointed as we have only had these 3 months. The return window is closed so a waste of money. Would not buy these again.

I purchased the white colored, blackout shade, and was mostly satisfied with it.The installation took a few tries because it fit exactly the width of my window.The pre-set tensioner was set to the perfect moderate speed. I could pull the cord and let the shade retract slowly on its own. Then after 90 days/ (180 uses,90 retractions & 90 extensions) the tensioner needed to be adjusted. When I pulled the cord to retract the shade, the shade shot up into the valence. That was a startling and unpleasant surprise. I’m not happy that it just stopped working.The material is 9/10, 4.5 stars. Clean, and well manufactured.
