Just Darling Infant & Toddler Boys Vintage Style Knickers Outfit Suspenders, Bowtie & Cap

This is a great outfit for the price! I ordered this for my Son's 12mo pictures and it is working out just fine and is cutter than cute on him. I disagree with many other reviews that I've read about the quality of this product. You get what you pay for, plan and simple. My first impression when I pulled it out of the package was that it was either made by my Grandmother or it was outsourced to a factory. The quality is by no means poor, but it is cheep. Not cheep enough that it will fall apart or break by any means! It is holding up fine for pictures and occasional Sunday wearing but past that I would not suggest it. This is why I say you get what you pay for. There is a reason why other vintage style knickers outfits cost upwards of $60 and this is half of that. If you are wanting everyday wear then you are going to have to pay out the big bucks and go with a different product. But, if you are just looking for a photo shoot or occasional wear than this outfit will suit your little man perfectly! The only thing that I wish is that they had more pictures of it listed in the add. When seen in person the color/pattern was not exactly what I had in mind when I ordered it, but it still looks nice and works beautifully.One thing that I really really like about this that you cannot see or read about in the add is how the suspenders are attached in the back. Instead of being two separate suspenders that fall off of your child's shoulders, they are connected in a Y in the back so that they fit close around the shoulders with-out falling down making it a breeze for photography. Coming from a photographer, it was wonderful not to need an assistant in this area when it came shooting time!As you will see in the other reviews it does run a little small, so I would suggest getting a size bigger than what you would normally order. My Son tends to run extra large so I ordered 2x bigger for him and it fits perfectly.

Ok- So I read everyone's reviews and ordered a size big for my little guy- he's wearing 18 months, but is about to bump up to 24 month clothes. So, I ordered the 2T and it's a little big! I'm glad it's not too small- because I'd rather get more wear out of it than him only being able to wear it once! That being said, the suspenders are made just from a ribbon and don't have any stretch to them, and they are almost too short for him- which is disappointing because when he bends down, they just come unclipped. The quality is decent. It's not really heavy weight material (in anything), so it will make a nice summer church outfit down south. All in all though, it's SUPER adorable and he totally hammed it up when he tried it on! Maybe I'll look for a different pair of suspenders to go with it and make it last him a long time!

This does run a bit small. My son is 3 and usually wears about a 4T. I bought this in 5T and it "just" fit him. As others said, the material is thin and fragile. A few strings here and there and a good size hole in hat lining (thankfully didn't affect the look). The suspenders fit a bit awkward and one of the clasps kept coming undone no matter how much "give" we gave the non-elasticized strap. I'm not sure yet how well it washes up. I'm a bit scared what will happen if I do. It is truly an adorable outfit otherwise. We used this outfit as a historical costume at a History Fair and he received many compliments.

I wish that I would have read the reviews a bit more carefully before I selected this garment. I really wanted this garment to work because it looked so cute in the picture. The fit and quality on this set leave MUCH to be desired. My son is 13 months old. He is a big boy, and currently wears 18-24 month sized clothing. I purchased a 2T seeing that it did run a bit small, but it was VERY tight. I could barely get it buttoned around his neck, and it was tight on his waist. Also, it cut him short in the crotch. If I had ordered a larger size, the arm length and pants length would have been too long. Additionally, the materials and assembly of this garment are awful. The suspenders probably had to be the worst. They were essentially two ribbons sewn together (incorrectly). If you do buy this, don't plan on taking any pictures showing the back because these suspenders look crazy! I expanded them to their longest length, which was difficult to do because the metallic detail on the ribbon kept catching on the teeth of the suspender fastener, but every time he moved or bent over, they would pop off of the pants. I could barely get the tie to stay secured. The serging/stitching inside of the garment showed through the slit in the leg near the button. From afar, my son looked darling in this style, but there was so much wrong with the outfit that the picture doesn't show. Although the style of the garment is adorable, save yourself the time and energy because you will likely be sending this one back!

Everything was sized as expected except for the suspenders. I was not able to make the suspenders long enough to use on my 2.4 year old despite ordering a 3T outfit. The suspenders have no elastic in them. He was extremely upset that his suspenders did not fit. Everything else fit perfectly (even the hat which I was worried would be too small on my son's 98th percentile head. We were still able to use the outfit for our intended purpose, and I love the look even without suspenders!

I purchased this to take pictures of my son, it's not something I would put on for an event or everyday use.I purchased the 9 month old and it fit fine on my 3 month old, so yes it runs VERY SMALL.my son is 5 months weights 19 lbs. and is too big for it.the material is not seems a little cheap, overall it IS VERY CUTE at least for pictures.I couldn't find shoes online, I purchased some that were recommended and they were ugly and too big, I took the pics of my son barefoot and it looked cute.I recommend this for a nice picture outfit, nothing more than that.
